It's exactly what you need if you need extra battery life. If you want to add battery life at the click of a button it will do just that. It's intuitive and just plugs and plays. As a small business owner I'm on my phone constantly for work. When I'm not on it for work, I'm playing phone games anyway. After pretty much non-stop use I had no issues.The grip on it is surprisingly nice. You'll notice the top camera area in notched in really hard which I thought would be awkward but it actually provides a nice little grip and the texture of the case is grippy too so you don't have to worry about it slipping out of your hands.Charging it is less than ideal. I think the case charges simultaneously alongside the phone when you plug it in. Therefore if you need a quick charge (for whatever reason, I only did it for testing purposes) you'll want to unplug it and charge your phone without the case. As long as you're charging it overnight you should be fine though right?It's bulky. In this generation of large phones I still carry my phone in my front pocket and this case makes it damn near impossible to put it in my pocket. If it is in there I have to take it out before sitting. Yes, I wear slim-fit jeans but they're not as tight as yoga pants. Like I said before, it's comfortable to hold but it is very substantial in your hands.The trade-off of size to battery life isn't worth it for me. I put my slim clear silicone case back on and my hands much much prefer that. I'm also around plugs constantly at home, work, and in my car so I really don't have a need for it. I'm definitely saving it though for those days that I know are going to be extremely long or if I do a day-trip somewhere.If you don't care about bulk, keep your phone in your bag, and really need the extra battery life then go for it!

Edit: 05APR20I was contacted by a company rep asking me to change the review or remove it. I informed them of my issues with the product and possible solutions.They offered a replacement product, once the COVID-19 crisis dissipates and in the interm offered a $20US Amazon Gift card.I declined the Gift Card, but opted for the replacement at a later date.Continuing that - I dismantled the original case I had. The problem is not as I originally thought. The soldered connections are fine and seem to hold up well. It's the actual quality of the Type-C Connection (Female one) that isnt durable. I believe that replacing the Type-C Connection with a stronger version will solve all the issues with this case.With all that being said, I'm changing my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Simply due to the fact that I was contacted and had a decent experience with the company.+--------+All in all it's not a bad battery case, but it does have some problems. I've purchased two so far, and each one has started to have the same issue.Battery life: 8/10 - holds a charge with no issue and keeps the phone charged. Also charges up rather quickly!Case protection: 6/10 - the back (not the battery) is definitely not the most durable. Had a drop from ~3foot and it cracked the back glass. Battery itself is pretty durable and defended.Weight & Size: 7/10 - it's big, but it's good! I like the extra weight.Lifetime: 3/10 - My biggest issue here is that each case I have owned has died in the same fashion ... The connections to the USB or to the Phone are not built to last. Have to wiggle the charger and apply pressure to one side to get it to charge now.

After a month or so of use it seems decent. Extra charge is very much needed for me and buying a Pixel 3 XL this late means I could only find this extended battery case.Things that I don't like though:The back of the case is slick. If I have it in my car seat while going around a corner faster than a grandpa, it will fly off.Also holding in the button on the battery pack to start the charge process sometimes doesn't work. You have to hold it down for a few seconds but sometimes it will act like it is connected to charge and then disconnect, reconnect over and over until I hold the charge button again to turn it off. Then I hold it again to turn it on and it is fine. Weird but it works.Now I just have to wait to see how long the battery will last, months or years.

If you worry about this case not fitting good, and or not being able to squeeze the side of your phone to activate Google Assistant, worry no more!! It works great. It is kind of a rubbery substance, so I feel it gives it a little better protection on drops than many. It doesn't support induction charging. Something I think they should seriously consider. I may not have bought it, had I known beforehand.Service is good, but only if you do it one way. Mine stopped charging after about 4 months. I think the plug itself went bad. I tried getting a hold of company via a company website. NOT a good idea. The website was designed for Chinese and I failed at getting support. The only way I was able to get support was through contacting the vendor through Amazon. Once I got in touch, support was very responsive and replaced the case quickly. So I was very happy about that.One more thing that is non-standard. When you charge the phone and case at night. The case does NOT default to charging. It defaults to NOT charging. So you have to push the button on the back each day when you want it to charge. Once the phone battery is at 100% then it turns back off. I don't like waiting until the phone gets low before activating, because it generates a lot of heat. So I try to remember to hit the button at 80% so that it doesn't get hot.I feel like it is a quality product and would not hesitate to recommend them. They just need to make a couple of tweaks.

This case is a must have if you own a Google Pixel 3xl phone. I can now make it a full day without having to charge my phone via charging cable and ac outlet. It's cost effective, provides accidental drop protection and fully charges my phone. The case does add a bit of weight but I personally like a heavier phone. Great price and a great warranty, love it...

Battery does not charge the phone anymore. It will just charge for a second, then stop. Lasted me a year and a month. It was good while it lasted. Also, it doesn't automatically charge your phone, you have to hold the button on the case for a couple of seconds to initiate the charge. Can fully charge my Pixel about twice before it needs recharging.

Battery works as expected, life is good, can top my P3XL from 0% to 100% with no issues.Case is well done, buttons feels to be in right place.My only complain is the lack of data transfer in the USB-C port, so an earphone will not work.This is not a show stopper for those who uses a bluetooth one.

I would love to love this battery pack, but I'm on my seconds one in a year and the USB-C port is just not very good. Fist one stopped charging after about 8 months, so I bought a new one last week, and after a week it's starting to have problems connecting with a cable again. I've tried many cables and different chargers.Great design, really want it to be amazing, but the USB-C connector problem is far too annoying not to mention it. It's an expensive brick if you can't plug it in :(
