Best by far!
Five stars every time for this product. Beautiful rich colour, no brush marks and a lovely satin natural finish. It is pricey but knowing the quality, we felt it was worth buying the three tins for our rafters which are on show. They look amazing! Buyer beware and check out all of the sites selling Osmo, I recently researched the previous company I purchased from to be told Osmo had had a price increase, understandable, however, the increase was nearly fifty percent of our previous purchase. After further research I found a company who was selling at the same previous rate I had paid. Do the legwork, it will save you money!

Expensive but worth the extra cost
Be aware you are best to plan three coats of this stuff. Very effective but you need to pay extra attention to the joins and holes from any screws, nails. Many shed manufacturers insist on an oil based preservative for the guarantee to be valid. Osmo fits the bill.

Decking restored
I applied this with the recommended brush (good investment) after carefully powerwashing the existing boards. I also used it to spruce up my solid oak French doors. On the decking it looks first rate, though I found that even after what I thought was enough stirring, there was still a layer of thick colour at the bottom of the tin, so stir and stir again! On the French doors, I'm very pleased with the finish-far better than varnish as I will be able to overpaint in future with little sanding-not like varnish. If I was being picky, I'd say that the oak colour, whilst perfect to stain standard decking boards, is a little on the strong side for real oak and one coat was enough, but still 5 stars as that's a matter of taste. I'll use a clear coat to top it up on the doors in future.

Simply The Best!
Best product of its kind on the market and very reasonably priced with good delivery service. I would always use the recommended 2 coats not one as some people do. Have used "Larch" on all our decking and "Rose wood" on the timber sheds. Larch is a soft brown that compliments out Cotswold stone garden walls and the Rose wood is a deep dark chocolate. The decking was painted last year and has never been slippery unlike the unpainted boards even though a small amount of algae did grow over winter. I am very impressed with this product which although a little expensive compared to some other products is well worth it

Good product check for different sizes
Excellent product but requires a good stirring. Only issues are the lack of choice of size of tin size. When I ordered the first tins I could only find small ones, when I ran out I found larger tins under a different description (not English) which turned out to be the same product from the same supplier but worked out cheaper. Not sure if it was Amazon or the supplier at fault.

Excellent product.
This was purchased to stain some new staircase spindles. I have to say it has applied really easily, and come up looking amazing. I cannot fault the quality of the product. The handle to the tine is seperate from the tin and you have to fix that to the tin yourself, which is a bit worrying and I was concerned the handle would come out at any point, but it's been fine, I just have zero confidence in it. Also it is quite expensive by comparison BUT you won't be disappointed with the end result. It has transformed our hallway. Excellent.

Great product
I love using the Osmo oil. Oak is a great colour if applying one layer. I applied 2. Went a bit orangery. Should have applied one layer then one top coat .,

Great product
OSMO make fantastic oils and although expensive there is absolutely no maintenance unlike other brands. No pealing or flaking whatever the weather and I first used it 8 years ago and haven’t touched it since
