What is the gauge of this metal?

Base is 12 gu strap is 10 gu. Not 14 as stated before

my post measures ~5.5 x5.5 can i use this post base that is 6 x6? Does the post have to be exactly 6 x 6 to use this fixture?

The description says it’s adjustable but it isn’t. Our posts are 5x5 and we had to bend them and use shims. We were able to make them work just a little modification.

What hardware is included with the base?

Just the base (which covers the stud) and the bracket that secures the post.
