SALICYLIC Acid 30% Chemical Peel with Beta Hydroxy BHA For Rosacea, Acne, Oily Skin, Blackheads, Whiteheads (2 oz / 60ml)

I've been using a Glycolic/35 gel peel for a couple of years and my skin has somewhat got accustomed to it, so I wanted to try salicylic acid. The product is very potent but with minimal skin irritation. Redness is minimal and fades within the hour, some puffness for a day or so and -at least for me- minimal flakiness. To minimize flakiness you have to:- keep your skin moisturised heavily AND constantly after the peel-use a very mild product to wash your face for the next couple of days-use sunscreen and try to avoid sun exposure-pat dry your face, don't rub it.Results are amazing, people around you will certainly see the difference.Just follow the instructions carefully and don't perform a peel in less than a week frequency (depending on your skin tolerance)I'm extremely pleased with this product, really helped my skin clear out of small blackheads and tiny wrinkles. Overall higly recommended!Tip: before applying the peel cover with a heavy cream the area under your eyes and with some lip balm your lips, to avoid exposure of these areas to the acid.Also, this product is a bit difficult to apply directly on skin since it's an alcoholic solution and immediately evaporates upon contact with the skin,so use a soft gauze to do it, so you can apply it evenly and more easily.

With diligent use twice a day this removed several ugly brown seborrheic keratosis (those lovely brown spots that come with aging) that I absolutely hated. Use a long wooden cotton swab so you can reach your back. Apply twice daily for about 2 months and the spots will be gone. It doesn't burn because the skin cells are dead, just be careful not to get on healthy skin.First product that ever worked.

I've only used it once. It seems like a nice Salicylic acid. Perhaps more gentle than another 30% Salicylic acid than I have used (which is why gave it 4 instead of 5 stars). That being said, that is ok with me right now because I haven't done regular acid peels for a year or so.

I've been using a different brand of 20% and it seemed to work better. Unfortunately, amazon no longer carries it

Compring between this product and the 70% glycolic acid from the same company, this has a more profound effect on my skin. The burn from applying this product feels "deeper" and more painful, even though it's less concentrated than the 70% glycolic.During the week, I got more peeling with this product than with glycolic.I am yet to see the effect on my acne scars until I try this product several more times, but it appears to be very promising. I will definitely be buying a second bottle once mine is out.I'm glad we now have the option of buying strong chemical peels directly. I'm finding out that chemical peels are a great, safe way of managing acne and rejuvenating skin without any effects on the body. Just follow the instructions and ease your skin into it and you will see nice results.

I use this every 6 weeks and apply with a cotton ball to my face. At first I would only leave it in for a couple minutes then rinse off with plenty of cold water. Now I leave it in for 5-6 minutes. It helps remove age spots on my face pretty well. The downside is it blisters your face like a sunburn and you peel for a few days afterwards

First, I want to say this is my first time doing a Salicylic Acid peel. I have used this twice now and nothing. First time I left it on for 5 minutes and nothing, then a second time 10 minutes since it is supposed to be self-neutralizing and again nothing, not even a tingle. It does not sting in the least bit and not even close to peeling. I followed all the steps carefully and it might as well have been rubbing alcohol. I got more of a sting from the alcohol I put on to degrease than whatever this stuff is. Did get a little red right after but that's it, the next day nothing. My suggestion is to try a different seller.

This stuff is great for acne. I have cystic acne and this is amazing at stopping an outbreak from occurring if I catch it early enough, and helps the cycle go much faster even if I can't stop it entirely. I will continue buying this stuff for as long as I need it, no need to pay for expensive spa treatments when i can do it myself in just the spots I need it. If you have sensitive skin, however, you may want to start with a lower concentration and work your way up, or just try it for a few seconds at a time at first. Don't be alarmed if it "bleaches" your skin, this will go away in a few minutes. And it will likely sting, just don't leave it on too long. Amazing product.
