The very first thing I did with this case was throw it in the shower for a good fifteen minutes. There was zero water inside the case, as advertised. It's difficult to find a waterproof rack case. This wasn't exactly the configuration I envisioned when I started looking, but in the end it has worked out well. The pull-out rack is very sturdy, and has rack-rails on both sides which lets you get creative when setting up your audio. The quality is very good. I've used it on a few gigs and it seems very sturdy. The wheels are tough and essential. The pull up extending handle could be a little stronger but with some reasonable care it should be no problem. I play some gigs in the great outdoors and rain is not your friend when you've got a rack full of audio equipment and no building to duck into nearby. I'm very pleased.

I own a video production company, and we were looking for portable racks that would be easy for us to travel with and to ship our DIT equipment when needed. We looked at all the options from Gatorcases, to custom wood cases, to SKB shock mount racks, and this is honestly the best combination of small size, portability, and protection. Once you remove the rack from the case, its just a black rack and its VERY study, but its not protected. Its just a rack. This is nice because it doesn't take up a lot of space on the DIT cart. But when its time to travel, you drop the entire rack into a case With protective foam custom made for it. Its brilliant!
