Big helpful chonker
Very good phone. Lots of features that are very helpful for me and, surprisingly, my mental health, like automation, random songs from my favourites in Spotify in my alarms, colour-control wind down to help me become naturally tired even while using the phone, automatic song identification on the lock screen, not requiring a pin to unlock at home - the list goes on.The battery is more than enough to last a day of idle use, but if you're watching or reading something you'll want to recharge at some point. It's good, but perhaps not great. It's also frikkin huge, like damn this phone is big. I like a good big phone so, that's okay, but one handed use is tricky even with the adjustable one handed keyboard settings. It's also made almost entirely from glass (the back of the phone is mostly glass to allow wireless charging faster) so, you basically need a protective case, but you could make a similar argument for any modern phone. With a big suit of armour wrapping it up it's going to be even bigger; this phone demands big ass pockets.Annoying features include a lack of memory card or headphone jacks. I have a lot of images from my old phone trapped on an SD card I can't use on this phone, as I don't actually have a reader. It's not a fatal flaw, just annoying. The phone comes with a rather fiddly usb-headphone adaptor, but I've since picked up wireless headphones because the wire adaptor was a bit annoying, unsightly and my old headphones finally broke. The wire also comes out of the bottom, which meant whenever I wanted to change song I was picking up my phone upside down, unlock it with the finger print and then realise my phone was the wrong way and that just bugged me on a very petty level. The way my phone sat on its wireless charger (or the expensive Google dock if you dish out for one) - I have one of those upright ones - means I couldn't charge and use my headphones, which I often do at work. Again, a very particular annoyance but something that influenced by decision to buy wireless over wired, and directly changed how I used the phone. The built in smooth operating Google assistant is something I've come to love the more I've used it, despite its limitations. "Hey Google, shut up" is a quick fire way to turn off all sound from your phone, good in a pinch; I had to use it in a meeting and everyone chuckled as I formally told my phone to shut up, especially when it worked. The fingerprint scanner is a convenient way to unlock my phone, much faster than a PIN. I've also used it for my banking app to sign in. That's about all I've used it for, just faster security, which is nice. The price is pretty steep, but the free upgrade to android 10 (and dark theme finally!) is nice. I made the jump from an ancient Xperia, so a lot of the new features and modern tools were a bit jarring for me at first, but I have since come to love them, and like any phone should, it has made my life far more convenient.

Does the job, great phone
No, it isn't an S20 nor the same speed but great as an all rounder and surprisingly good picture from camera due to the picture processing. Wide angle selfies nice. Why pay hundreds for the latest phone ? Dedicated fingerprint reader on the back very reliable. Big screen notch but you will soon get used to this. Battery lasts 16 hours with moderate use

Terrible condition
Briught as very good condition. Expected a little wear and tear but not as much as it was. Back and screen scratched to bits. I would have struggled it was good condition let alone very good. Very very disappointed will not buy from music magpie again!

Pixel 3XL good
The pixel 3xl at first glimpse is obviously larger even though only a few mm it is noticeable. Put straight into fast charge 1 hour in 30 mins later full charge. Only had phone a day operates and runs lovely and smooth.

A refurbished Pixel 3 XL with a lot of (hidden) wear and tear...
At least according to Google's authorized third-party UK repairer... but then it is called a 'USED phone' for a reason! Its looks all good (well, mostly all good), if not perfect (well, almost perfect) to my naked eye, so I am not (really) complaining! (For a smartphone in the UK in the year 2021, 4G phones such as Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are relatively-speaking obsolescent hardware/old technology and they really need upgrading, so there is probably no point in me parting more than £300 or just under £350 to buy the original article (in its new, unused state) again, in cash, and on credit!)
