I have been looking for some boots to wear on winter dog walks for a while; but could not find any that I liked the look of for a reasonable price. These boots are great! Waterproof, comfortable and they look good too.

Great fit, comfortable, look good, cracking price, very happy. Not super rugged, but then nor am I.

Good looking boots but, slightly narrow, very thin soles and exposed cross stitching - likely to be ripped when scrambling.Not sure they'll last too long - not completely sure they're for mountain use.

Worn out in 3 months, sole has worn down and spilt in the centre. Absolute rubbish - avoid. I will be trying to return but Merrel offer no guarantee about the quality of their products, particularly when via a 3rd part seller.

I wear these Monday - Friday and walk the dog in them every day and so far they have been spot on. Warm, waterproof and comfortable with no signs of damage. Highly recommend.

Comfortable boots, nice and light, perfect for walking in. Unfortunately the stitching that joins the tongue to the boot ripped the first time I put them on. If your aim is to buy some boots to try on and then return because they are damaged then these are the boots for you. Not sure I would trust their durability on anything other than soft carpet.

I'd describe these as an Urban Trek boot, more at home on the pavements of a town during a down pour than the rocky paths of a hill side. The ergonomics of the boot are wrong for walking rough terrain, but fine for paved dog walking. The flat soles push your centre of gravity rearwards on to your heels rather than forwards to the balls of your feet for walking.The closest description I can give is that feel similar to wearing a pair of pumps. Sizing is a little narrower at the little toe and across the foot than Moabs. One boot feels fine but the left boot arch support is intrusive, too high and in the wrong place for me and quite uncomfortable.The styling however is good, an urban chic look, the quality of the leather good, though there is a little too much stitching in places and this is where the liner will fail and the water will eventually get in. I'm also not sure how long the rubber strip around the boot will last. Like pumps they tend to give away at the creases where your feet bend allowing water ingress.The sole looks good but is quite thin, certainly only half the thickness of the white rubber strip. When I tested them by standing on a few legos I could feel the legos.In conclusion I'd say this pair of boots isn't really designed for a rough scramble up Snowdon, but they do have urban style and would look good down at the pub. I don't think they would stand the test of a hard hike over rocky terrain and lacking a heel will tire calf muscles quickly. The fact that they put your weight back onto your heels instead of forwards for walking isn't ideal during a proper hike. Dog walking in easy terrain? Fine. Going from pub to pub? Fine. Walking the peaks of Snowdonia? No.

Bought for my husband who really likes them. Seemed a little stiff at first but they have softened up nicely and are now very comfortable. Definitely 100% waterproof and the design of the sole does not accumulate great clods of mud. He normally takes a size 10 and these are shown as 10.5 but are ideal, accommodating thick socks without becoming to tight.

Scarpe molto comode, ben imbottite, impermeabili e calde. Aspetto sportivo, robusto, con suola flessibile e morbida. Pertanto ben utilizzabile in contesti urbani anche se i "chiodi" della suola possono risultare scivolosi su certi substrati bagnati. Pianta abbastanza larga.

Ich habe Schuhe für den Winter gesucht, mit denen ich bei Kälte, Schnee und Regen nicht an den Füßen friere und nicht nass werde.Hierfür sind die Schuhe perfekt geeignet. Ich bin Pendler und stehe häufig an eisigen Bahsnteigen, wo die Kälte schön von unten in die Füße reinkriecht. Auch gehe ich gern mal durch einen verschneiten Wald spazieren und laufe ohne Hemmungen durch Matsch und Schnee.Die Schuhe sind über ihre Funktionalität hinaus auch noch sehr bequem und eignet sich meiner Meinung nach ebenfalls als leichte Winterwanderschuhe.Neben all dem praktischen Nutzen, sieht der Schuh auch noch sehr ansprechend aus...Ich würde sie wieder kaufen!

Ich bin positiv überrascht von diesem Schuh.warm, wasserdicht, stabil.Ich nutze sie als Winterschuhe für kalte Tage, aber sie sinddenke ich auch als Wanderschuhe geeignet.Ich habe 65€ bezahlt :) Den momentanen Preis von 140€würde ich nicht bezahlen.Man sollte tatsächlich eine Nummer größer bestellen!

Su suela sufre de falta de tracción en suelo húmedo/mojado, pero como tantas otras de ese precio.De cómodo calzar, elegantes, modernas y funcionales.Muy cálidas para entornos frios, ir en moto, etc...Las compré en marrón al 50% y así si es un regalo...
