I'm not a DIY enthusiast and if I can get someone else to do it I generally do...however on this occasion I fooled myself into thinking I could lay some laminate floor. I've acquired a few saws over the years but really needed something more capable to fit boards into a house that has literally no right angles.I bought this Jigsaw on the basis of other reviews. When it turned up in a neat box, I found an absolute piece of cake to set up. The quick-release blade mechanism is brilliant, and it even comes with a batch of saw blades.The weighting is about right and I was soon making light work of the boards. It doesn't compensate for my lack of DIY skill, but it did make it easier to correct my mistakes!Great little cutter.

I bought it a few months ago, so far i managed to cut a pallete for a bed frame, I put together a patio with my old man and I'm very happy with the little unit. Everything is ALMOST perfect.I had an issue with the little wheel thing in the front that is supposed to be touching the back of the blade, It was offset and was kind of haniging, I had to disassemble it carefully and just put the wheel back into place, took me few minutes. Probably voided my warranty, but that's fine, safety first.If only I had bought this earlier, so many years of using a hand saw.

This is a 6 speed jigsaw which accepts the standard t shaped jigsaw blades. These attach to the jigsaw using a bayonet fitting which you turn a quarter turn and slot the blade in. Turn it again and the blade shoots out. The 6 speed setting start of at a very low speed, mainly for metals and goes up to a really high speed at 6. The saw comes with hex key and a VERY useful key hold attached to the cable (this is really useful as it prevents loss of the key). This hex key is used to loosen the 2 bolts holding the baseplate, allowing you to make angled cuts. It comes with notches for 15, 30 and 45 degrees. The only think that is missing from this saw is a carry case

It did work great but I think I probably wasn't fully aware of accidental strain caused by the variable speed and how I was using it and I've knackered the motor in a few months - I only have my old black and decker one to compare with which survived my abuse for years and still worked even when half melted in a fire.

the whole thing is broken !!! maybe damaged in transit i don’t no but unable to use will contact seller as iv had to go buy a brand new 1 as needed a it that day !! iv tried to upload a picture but for some reason it won’t let me

I have used this saw several times now and I am very pleased with the work results. I have used it on a variety of different woods like wenge, pine and have no problems with it. This saw cuts accurately and effortlessly even when working with dense hard woods. I will definitely use this brand again and would recommend this product to my everyone who need this for his work home, especially at this price.

Bought this many months ago and I used all the blades. It helped me get some garden projects done including a low boundary using re-claimed fence wood and some other odd jobs. The motor still goes and with some new blades, it will give me my money worth for sure.
