3D Black Rubber Side Tank Pad Protector for Suzuki GSXR 750/600/1000 Hayabusa GIXXER

This grip/anti-slip/tank protector is there to stay. Be carful when installing because once is glued it ain't going anywhere unless you rip it. I don't know if this will leave a mark when removed (probably) but I have no intention to remove it. It definitely looks better than the scratches I left with my shoe from mounting. So yeap, based in my experience I recommend.

Fits well on my cbr250r, the laminate glue is applied to the back of the grip in this latest version and the rubber material is very prominent and thick so you know its there and it helps keep you planted along with your stompgrips/techspec pads while riding aggressive.The glue protective shield was peeling off the unit upon delivery but the glue seems to have held. (Posting 2 weeks after applied)

For the price, I felt the tank pad had a quality and look I was going for without having to spend $40 on some thing that was brand specific to my BMW F800R motorcycle. I did have to trim the product to fit my tank shape but that is not the product's fault. My one gripe with the purchase was that the double sided tape does not come stuck to the back of the rubber tank pad. Due to the different edges in shape of the fishbone style, it was really difficult to line up the double-sided tape perfectly onto the tank pad. I did the best I could and where there was some overlap off the edges I simply took a pair of scissors and had to trim them. Once on the bike, you can't notice and so far the product seems to be holding up OK adhesion wise. Really can't complain but be prepared to take your time and line up the double sided tape. Really love the look and the all black rubber look is a nice alternative to the carbon fiber look that the majority of tank pads come in.

Its a double sided sticker that you stick to the rubber then stick to the tank. After about a day of not even using my bike the whole thing was unstuck. pretty useless. looked nice for the first 10 minutes. easy to put on but doesn't stay on at all.

I like this Protector! It feels great and provides excellent grip. Unfortunately, I stuck it on crooked, so I’ll have to purchase another one—lesson learned! 😂 Still, a great product overall!

Looks real nice and easy to install. The adhesive pad stuck real well to the tank but not so well to the protector. after only two days the protector started ungluing from the adhesive pad. I tried Sticking it back on several times and would seem to be holding only to find the next day it was coming unglued again.
