Needed silver for very important project and this made it easy and quick to finish. Have leftovers to make more when needed.

I used these to add holes in a corset I had made so that I could lace it up. They require a little elbow grease to apply them securely, but once they're in, they are really stuck on tight. They seem very durable and haven't had any issues with them whatsoever. It came in a nice carrying case with tools as well which was great if you didn't have any like I did.

I would prefer to give this a 3.5 stars but I'll err on the side of 4 instead of 3 because the product is just fine. There are no instructions. I had a good idea what I was doing to start with from watching a thousand tutorials (I make costumes and corsets are par for the course), but if you are hoping for the kit to teach you, you will be left high and dry. Youtube has your back, but I understand others who are angry at the lack of documentation.The kit its' self is quite nice for what it is. All the pieces you need aside from a hammer are included, and they work fairly well. The grommets included rolled with only a couple splits that didn't affect the strength or catch on anything.The hole punch is kind of crap, I never could get it worked out without cutting a giganto hole in my test fabric. I MacGyvered my household tools into being a tailors awl. I had planned on using the awl method over punching anyway (having heard it makes for stronger grommets) so this didn't bother me.I set 22 of these in my last project and have laced it up for tests and they're all holding perfectly with no fraying/pulling away.If you're going to do more than 20 of these however, I suggest searching for a press or pliers instead of hammering them all in, but it's doable! Expect a good bit of hand pain around number 15 or 16.The basic instructions for anyone reading is you take your item, mark exactly where you want your holes, figure out the punch or stab your hole just barely large enough to press the grommet into it, lay it down over the steel disc with a rod attached, pop a washer on the top facing down towards the fabric, use the silver tool with a small indention and hole on one side and a hammer, then hit the business out of it as smoothly as you can manage. Boom, grommet.When I run out of the grommets I'll likely repurchase the kit for fresh tools and another box full of grommets, even though the tools are still in pristine condition.

The media could not be loaded. These have proven to be 100% useless with the tools provided. I know that in my video I attempted to fit them in in ways they aren’t meant to go but I did that to show everyone that these grommets don not even fit into the provided tools in the kit. The base of the grommets is larger than the stand and slide off rather than sitting into the groove. When you attempt to close the groomet using the included tool it will not fit far enough in to fully close the pieces together. They also do not fit onto my 3/8” 10mm grommet tool.

I bought these grommets to use to secure outdoor curtains. We have a set of curtains on our patio to provide some privacy from our neighbors, their patio looks directly through our patio into our dining room. However since they are outside, they tend to blow open. I put several grommets along either side of the curtains and then used a screw to secure the curtains to the aluminum frame for the screen enclosure. Viola - the curtains don't blow open anymore and our neighbors can't see into our dining room.

Didn’t work for me… obviously I ordered the item with too short of a shaft for what I needed. I measured the nylon strap 3 times & thought there was lots of room… I was wrong or the shafts are shorter than stated

Parfait ! L’outil fourni avec les œillets permet de les sertir très facilement. Je les ai utilisés pour renforcer la bâche en plastique d’une serre à tomates. Réussite complète, la bâche est maintenant solidement fixée sans aucune possibilité de se déchirer par grand vent. Je n’avais jamais serti d’œillets et j’avais un peu un doute sur la qualité mais j’ai été très agréablement surpris. Je conseille vivement
