Great mug, but in my opinion one product design flaw..
Great mug, holds hot coffee very hot for a long time, however one small oversight, there is a stainless-steel (or aluminum) band around top right where the lower part of your lip goes as a natural position when sipping out of mouth piece. Yes, you guessed it, there is a tremendous transfer of the heat from a hot beverage inside to that band which gave me a bad burn on my lip on literally my first sip. You will have to consciously position your mouth in a way so you mouth\lip area doesn't make contact with that band

Good for the money but I wish the ice would not melt as fast as it does
Ice melts a little to quickly. I like the screw on lid but haven’t dropped it yet like a different brand that I using before. I had dropped the other brand and also knocked it off my bed both times within a couple days I got water all over the floor. I have not done that with this one yet.UPDATE:Since putting this on I have now dropped it twice in 1 day. Once in the car (where it was on the floor for about 15 minutes) and once off of a Butcher block table I the kitchen, a little over 3' high. The lid did not come off and it did not leak.Another update:I have since dropped it and broke the lid. Contacted the manufacturer and could not purchase another lid. The manufacturer set it up so I could purchase another cup and lid for $.99 on Amazon plus shipping but since I was a prime member there was no shipping. I’ve had the 2nd cup for a while and I’m still very satisfied. I would recommend purchasing this cup. In fact had to buy one for my wife.Another Update:The lid started leaking where it screws into the cup.

No Spills!!
I shouldn't be allowed to bring coffee in the car. I have spilled my coffee so many times. Often because I am carrying two mugs some with tops some without. Placing them on the floor because they don't fit in the cup holder and trying to balance them.I love my Mannhart tumbler. 30oz allows me to carry two coffees in one and it is completely leak proof. I can turn it upside down and shake it and no drips! And it fits in my cupholder - even with the optional handle.

Great lid but does not live up to hype
I like the cup but it does not keep my drink ice cold for 24 hours. I have to add more ice after a couple of hours bc it melted. It is a little big to hold in my hand so I am looking for a handle. I specifically bought it for the screw on lid and that lid isn't going anywhere!

I like its size, it keeps beverages cold, and that it is reasonably resistant to spills and leaks.
This is a nice large insulated tumbler. There aren't many this large; it can be filled up with ice and still have room for a 12 ounce beverage. The insulation keeps the ice from melting (and beverage cold) for hours (a full night for those who like to have a cold beverage on the nightstand). The exterior finish is very durable and stays looking nice and new after extended daily use.The plastic lid includes a flip top to drink out of or to seal when not drinking. If dropped, the lid flip top can open and allow the contents to spill... albeit less than would without a lid.I had a straw from another container that I was able to insert in the hole since I prefer straws... but it did require a much more narrow straw than would be considered common. It is a handwash type of Item.Overall, I like the tumbler very much and we've purchased several. I use it daily as my primary beverage cup.

Super sturdy! Best mug!
My husband is obsessed with this mug. He uses it for coffee, ketones, and water throughout the day, EVERYDAY. He works on an assembly line and is in and out of huge trucks all day. It's fallen or tipped over onto concrete and it's still in one piece. It keeps his coffee ridiculously hot and his cold drinks, very cold.Love it! He'll probably get one just to keep at work! Thanks for making such a great product!

Issue fixed
Second review on this item. My first product I had an issue with the gasket and was unsatisfied due to a leak/drip when drinking. After speaking with their customer service through email, I was told it was a very rare issue. My new lid has given me no issues at all over the past month. No leaks, even when shaken with a protein shake.

Perfect insulated bottle!
I have used this bottle for about 2 weeks now and its amazing! I've knocked over the bottle so many times and still no dents and never spills. The bottle itself is pretty big but its not to the point of it getting uncomfortable to carry around. Finally keeps my drinks hot and cold for long periods of time!!

This is absolutely brilliant
I'm going to start this 5* review with a problem! This travel mug keeps drinks HOT for way longer than you'd expect. If you're going to make yourself a cup of tea at 7am and then take it in to work, to drink at 9-10, be aware that when you get to work it will still be far too hot to drink and you'll need to leave it with the lid off for a good 30 mins (even with the lid off it barely cools down). With that said, it's not really a problem is it? They weren't lying, basically. This will keep a 98deg (c) full mug of tea above 90deg (c) for 8 hours; it's actually quite baffling and unexpected, not least because the outside of this thing doesn't even become warm so you can't actually tell it contains anything hot.The size of this travel mug is the best thing about it, assuming you are happy transporting it around if that's what you want to do with it. I take this full of tea and my other travel mug full of coffee in to work every morning, and this one sits on my desk until my coffee is finished. I then drink it over the course of 2 hours or so (lid off the whole time and it stays hot).Their v1 of this product was great too however the design was a little too ... metallic and the lid didn't screw on or clip shut, so it leaked a lot. This one massively improves on that. You need to make sure the lid is clipped shut properly and screwed all the way on, but ensuring those 2 criteria are met means you're well on your way to a dry carpet if you drop it!I've shaken this thing pretty violently on the walk to the train in the morning (got a few funny looks) and not even lost a drop of tea. With their last version of this product the lid came off when I turned it upside down :)If you love hot drinks (or cold) but hate having to use small glasses / mugs (or use big mugs but hate how they get cold too quickly) then this is the product for you. Almost a litre of tea that doesn't go cold all day ... What more could you want in life!?

Big mug and good quality
A big mug as I wanted, in winter time I don't need to make teas too often now with this big mug 887 ml. Also it's easy to clean as I can put my washing up sponge and my hand all way to the bottom of the mug.

Well worth the money.
Fantastic piece of kit. So much so, I bought another. It's the only travel mug I've found that holds a large take away coffee. It's leak proof. Even if turned upside down or left lying on its side.If you prime it like a Thermos, it keeps your drink hot for several hours. More than enough time for you to drink it.I purchased a third party handle to go with it, because it is a huge mug, and needs some long fingers to get around it properly. The lid doesn't need to be screwed on really tight, and is still leak proof. Which is good. For all the idiot negative reviews claiming the lid gets “vacuumed on”, try popping the mouth piece open before you try unscrewing it. It’s not rocket science. Easily releases the vacuumed caused by cooling air, and then it opens with ease (unless you’re also one those numpties who does the lid up as tight as humanly possible first). The lid doesn’t need to be very tight to be leak proof. Just turn with fingers, until you feel firm resistance. Not until your knuckles turn white.

Tough, but too hard to handle?
First of let me just say that this mug is tough. Its built like a tank, and when full of coffee it feels just as heavy. Secondly, it works! It's keeps stuff hot or cold for hours and hours. It's ace! It's also leak proof, or at least it is so far.So why isn't it 5 stars?Well as you can see from my photo, it has a handle. But unfortunately it does not come with a handle. The handle on mine is in fact a cheap ebay job, 3 quid. I simply couldn't justify 8 quid for the official one on amazon. Anyway, it wasn't available, so I couldn't get ven if I wanted to.The handle is a must. I'm 6'3" and have big bear paws, and I struggle to keep a firm grip on the large slippery mug. Mannhart, if you weren't going to provide a handle, couldn't you have at least give it a solid rubber grip like every other coffee cup in the world? Its a good mug, but not perfect.Oh, and it would be ace if they made a plunger mug for filter coffee like bodum do. 👍

Stunning revision
Having purchased the original all stainless version and loving it, it was a no brainer to purchase the improved version, so I did and it is superb.Far better leak proof properties around the lid, an improved drinking port, and stunning looks.Didn't think it could be made better, but I was wrong.
