Ariat Men's Switchback Western Cowboy Boot

I have used this boot for a number of years. I spend a lot of time on my feet, every workday. The leather uppers are soft, the toe area is wide and never pinches the toe (I use a D width, but they come in extra widths) the shoe sole is firm and supportive on all surfaces and it never requires break in time.I have flat feet which has led to Plantar fasciitis, with or without orthopedic supports this shoe is an excellent product.I love Ariat products, I buy have western boots and other specialty walking shoes. Once I find a great product it's hard to turn me to sometime other than. I will continue to purchase this product and other Ariat shoes, as long as they are available.

Am really impressed with these boots so far. Immediately I put some SnoSeal on them, and that turned out to be a good plan as it snowed pretty much 3 days straight and the leather held up perfectly and the traction performed very well in the slick snow. My only complaint is the inner heel is very tight - restrictively tight - and caused my heel to be sore on one foot and wore a hole in the other foot from a day of walking around a city we visited. In time no doubt they will break in, but I'd have a back-up pair of boots/shoes if I had to wear these for 12 hours again.

Very attractive boot made with high quality leather that is equally comfortable. In fact, I would say this is the most comfortable boot of this style I have owned to date. The only issue I have with the boot is the suede type leather used for the tongue. The loop the laces goes through on the tongue broke on the first pair I had. Replacement pair is holding up well, but I'm more conscious of the loop's fragility when putting them on now. I will definitely buy another pair if/when these wear out.

Fabulous boots! Look great, and wonderful leather quality. My husband has told me multiple times just how much he loves these boots! They're comfortable and versatile, dress them up or down. He's typically a size 9/9.5 depending on the shoe...I ordered him a 9.5 to allow for thicker socks in the winter, and he said they fit and feel fantastic! Ariat is the only brand of boots I buy for myself...and I'm pretty sure that now that I've let my husband into the Ariat world, they're all he is going to settle for anymore as well!

I must be on my tenth pair. They simply are everything I need in daily footwear as long as I am not compelled to be a little more dressy. Comfortable for short and long periods of standing, they wear well and look good. I wear them with an orthotic. Terrific boots.

I got my husband a pair of these for Father's Day and he liked them so much he asked for another pair for Christmas just so he could wear one pair to work in and the other for "going to town" - ha! These are made exceptionally well. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a sturdy work boot.

These are great shoes, we knew that before we bought them. It takes a while of wearing them before they stretch and get "right" but once they do it's the best work shoe. Be prepared to wear an hour or two until broken in.
