Globe Electric 67067 Holden 70" Floor Lamp, Brushed Steel, in-Line On/Off Foot Switch

Great lamp. Height works for my tall ceilings, sturdy and simple. Price is significantly higher on other websites too! No dimmer, suggest using a 40W bulb otherwise the light exposure is almost blinding.

This is a clean, minimalist style lamp. If you're buying this kind of lamp, you already know you're the kind of person who digs this look. I chose a long style bulb to use with a lamp shade I bought. It's solid. You turn the lamp on/off with a foot button, super cool!

Just got these in. Despite the reviews about quality, I took a chance and ordered them. They are exactly what I was looking for (maybe a little bit taller) but they are straight and the sockets are secure and I’m glad I ordered them.

I wish I could give this floor lamp 10 stars, this design makes alot of sense, not only it looks simple and awesome, it uses one bulb with no shade, is very efficient on electricity, has a floor switch and its the right height, I put an LED 4.5 watt 450 lumens Phillips bulb and it works more than great, very clever design and worth it

In love with this lamp the actual lamp is made Of good material, at first I thought it was going to be plastic painted in gold but no it’s actually some sort of metal material which makes the lamp a little bit heavy but not drastically. Right now I’m using this lamp as a grow light since I didn’t like all the other grow lights I decided to convert a non traditional one. I’m extremely satisfied with it

I like the simplicity of this floor lamp and it was easy to put together. This unit has a floor switch, which is great except they actually placed the switch closer to the plug side (where it goes into the wall) instead of being closer to the lamp. This means in my case, I've got an extension cord just to keep the switch within reach of the lamp itself. Then I have all of the extra cord just wound up. Almost perfect with the exception of this small miss on usability design.

I wasn’t sure what to expect at this price with some of the reviews claiming that it leaned and some reports of broken, but this is a really good lamp. Yes, the tube sections are easy to cross thread, just be patient and if it feels like its getting hard to turn and there is still a gap, back it out, make sure it’s straight and try again. This happened to me a couple times and it still only took me about 5 minutes to connect all the sections. The foot switch is not really a rocker switch (a rocker rocks back and forth). It’s a just a push on/off which is actually better since you just have to push down on it with your foot—similar to the one I have on my Christmas tree lights. Seems solid with a good weighty base. Never feels like it can easily tip over even on high pile carpet.

Got this lamp because it fit the aesthetic I wanted for my room. It's pretty simple to put together although the wire that ran through was twisted so it was initially hard to get through the poles. The bulb is pretty bright and there's no shade (unless you buy one yourself) so best to put it somewhere where you're not likely to always stare at it. It's super modern as a result though and that's something I did want.I've had it for about a year now and it's pretty good. The foot on/off is super easy since it's right underneath my desk and I just stomp it to get it to turn on/off. The only thing I've noticed now, after a year of use and an apt move, is that it's not as sturdy as it once used to be. It sways a little back and forth, even on solid ground with just the support it has itself. It's not perfectly straight anymore and it's definitely a bit annoying and can ruin the aesthetics/look of a place. Maybe it needs more tightening but I wish it held its 'shape' longer without human intervention. Besides that, it has a heavy base, so it does seem sturdy in that sense. The assembly is awkward, start from the bottom up, there was a really bad smell coming from the base of the lamp (ew) and as I was patiently screwing in the adjoining parts the coating popped off in one area near a seam. I coloured it in with a permanent marker so it isn't visible. Normally I would return the item but I wanted this style and I will assume this is common with this lamp. Wouldn't spend the money now knowing this though.

Fácil de armar, práctico y transportable. No viene con la bombilla pero yo ya tenía una destinada para esta lámpara. Me encantó.

This Globe Holden 70" floor lamp is really nice; here is what stood out to me:- Comes well packed, every piece of the lamp is well packaged to avoid getting dinged and scratched.- Easy to assemble, with clear basic and concise instructions (although, you probably won't need those; it can only go one way).- Once assembled, very sturdy, no wobble, no slack. Stands perfectly straight. I've moved it around my home quite alot to see the effect in different rooms, shows no signs of falling apart. Very well constructed.- Fit and finish is spot-on! No scratches, knocks, bends or otherwise. It looks like a single sturdy piece even if it is divided in many pieces.- Aesthetically very pleasing. I was looking for something with an industrial feel, but minimalist and easy to fit anywhere. This lamp fills all those roles. It even looks really nice in a slightly rustic corner of a room.- With the proper bulb, it could easily be used as a reading lamp.- Consider this option as a lightbulb:>>> Globe Electric 84650 40W Silver Designer Vintage Edison Chromeo Incandescent Light Bulb, E26 Base, 220 Lumens <<<This is what I use, it it's perfect for setting mood but not blind you. I am 1.77m tall and the bulb doesn't blind me. It casts an upward light.- I haven't found any negative to this lamp, although there is something I would prefer. About the base, the pole sits in the centre of the base, but it would be nice if the pole was nearer the back. Just an opinion.

review: Globe Electric Holden 70" Floor Lamp, Black Finish, In-Line On/Off Rocker Switch 12937This is a simple lamp with no shade. It has a foot toggle to turn the lamp on or off. Putting this together is dead simple however i will say to be careful while threading this in. Go slow and straight, otherwise you might strip the threads.I bought this because of one reason. I put a Philips HUE bulb and made it RED colour. Whenever I'm doing a live broadcast or recording, I put the lamp on with the red light at 50% to mimic kind of like an "on air" warning to everyone around the house to stay quiet and do not disturb. IT works great :) My kids also use the lamp for the same reason when theyre playing online gaming and they warn me with the light so that i dont embarrass them while theyre talking to their buddies online.A couple complains though: I would like a longer cord though -- its rather short. For the price, It's not the most sturdy either.

I purchased this lamp when the price was 55$ and that’s what it’s worth. It comes in 3 pieces (1 for the base and the length is in two pieces) and you just screw it together wich is so easy but it is a teenie tiny bit wobbly. Barely but I’d rather mention it for people that it could bother.Don’t forget that the bulb needs to be purchased separately and that if you want it to look like the picture, you need to get and edison kind bulb
