10 yrs ago I bought polar fleece blanket... needed a new one and this is it!!It's not that microfiber fleece, it's not that micromink fake lightweight fleece.Only reason not 5 is that it's a little thinner than my old one.

This blanket is just what I wanted. Perfect weight and great price.

I've been looking for some time for nice fleece blankets, and I think I might have found them. These are excellent: soft and warm (my cats love them!), and reminding me of the old Polartec brand I used to buy a couple of decades (or more?) ago. Not flimsy, They remain good afer going through the washing machine & dryer, with no observed pilling or other such badness. I would call this a mid-weight fleece: a single blanket is perfect for a cool bedroom.I plan to buy a couple more, and can easily recommend them if you're looking for a nice mid-weight fleece blanket.

I guess I made a mistake when I bought this in that I also bought another throw at the same time. The other one turned out to be so wonderfully soft and comfortable, really everything you would want in a blanket or throw, that I suppose it changed my opinion on a standard polar fleece blanket. I found this blanket stiff. Even the dog, who it was for, stole the other blanket!Not sure if I can do this, but the Softbear throw and/or blanket is similarly priced but so much more comfy.

I have to say, I did a lot of research, yes even for a "throw" type of blanket, And for the price I didn't have high expectations but still felt encouraged by the reviews I read. If you want a somewhat thick blanket, that is sturdy than this is it. It is great for our dog's bed or it would be great for camping or for a picnic hands down. However, if you are looking for a soft cuddly blanket this may not live up to that. So it will still be useful but in a practical way.

I’ve purchased three of these blankets. I wouldn’t say these are a premium fleece, but for us they do the job. They were purchased to use outdoors around a fire pit in the evenings. My daughter stated that they look like oversized pieces of felt, and yes, they do kind of remind me of that, but for what we are using them for, I can’t complain. They are soft, and I have washed them twice with no issue. They are fine for what we need them for.

What is nice about this brand besides super soft and light, is no lint. No fibers coming off on the sheet or top cover in bedding, even after washing in machine. That is a rare find with most polar fleece. That is why I gave it such a high rating.

My mom requested this as a gift for Christmas (as a recommendation from my aunt) to keep her bed warmer in her cool above ground apartment. She absolutely loved ! She was super excited on Christmas Day and it was exactly as described. She uses it as a “flannel layer” to sleep on and she wanted the lighter colour to match her bedding. It’s soft, warm and retains her body heat. I’d definitely recommend this item.
