Genesis Does!
This Retroflag MegaPi case is lovingly patterned after the European and Japanese Mega Drive case, this is easily the most beautifully done case Retroflag has put together, and the other three they have available were already gorgeous. The heat sinks seem to be an issue for these pi cases. However, the heat sink included with this kit fits just right, and any standard Pi fans or Pi heat sinks should fit as well. Since the Pi is inserted upside down in this case it forces the fan to be pressed pretty close to the CPU heat sink which I have found results in the pi never getting above 120F, which is really good considering how tight things are in there. It uses the same safe shutdown script used by Retroflag for their NesPi and SuperNesPi cases and it works like a charm. The assembly even seems to be easier on this case altogether. Got it together in just under 10 minutes, and I was being pretty careful. The only issue I have run into is concerning the removable vent on the left side of the case where you have to insert your micro sd card. Mine, as well as a few others that I'm aware of, seems to stick really bad and doesn't just pop right open like it's supposed to but instead needs to be forced open with quite a bit of pressure. This is rough if you need to swap micro sd cards out for whatever reason since you have to fully assemble the case before installing the micro sd card. Honestly though that is my only gripe and it is a small one. The case is beautiful, well designed, throws you back to the late 80's to mid 90's and combined with the Retroflag six button controller, which is designed for this, is absolutely a slam dunk. The MegaPi case, as is every Retroflag case, is 100% worthy of you hard earned $$$. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing Build Quality - A few things to consider
If you are a tinkerer and love retro gaming, you can't go wrong with these. So much better than the 3D printed cases that are out there. This thing is well built and incredibly faithful to the original MEGA DRIVE, much better than even the licensed products. A couple of quick notes if you're building one:- Don't be dumb like me and forget the SD card in the RasperryPi during assembly. I cracked a 32 GB card by forcing the top cover onto the unit and it clipped the card since it needs to slide into a slot in the case. Make sure you only insert the SD card AFTER you've built the case and the top case is flush with the bottom one- You may need small pliers to remove the SD card from the case as there's not a lot of clearance, so it's best to use a SD card you won't need to remove frequently- For whatever reason, the case reset button was pushing the board reset button without being pressed when I assembled the case, so it essentially would behave as if it was in the off state. Took me a while to figure out what was going on. I had to take a pair of scissors and clip a small portion of the plastic that pushes the board reset button so it wouldn't activate it accidentally.- As a guy who had the U.S. SEGA Genesis versus the rest of the world MEGA DRIVE, I do wish they would make a US version with the reset button in gray and badging closer to GENESIS.All in all, despite some additional tinkering and modding, I can't recommend this enough. It looks amazing next to my other mini systems. Highly recommended. Shipping was also fast.

Money well spent on the perfect RetroPie case
I always wanted a Mega Drive/Genesis classic system. This is the closest and best way to get there. This MegaPi kit from GeeekPi includes the cooling fan and heatsinks as a bonus. I mounted the fan so that the air is blown out of the bottom of the case. This keeps the Pi 3B at about 40C under load. The power on and reset buttons work well with the scripts from retroflag. However, there are some special setup steps to get things going for me. Yes, tinkering is needed with anything Raspberry Pi.I had a usb keyboard that gave me the " and @ swap problem and could not type in the | needed to complete the command. I ended up turning on SSH within RetroPie and using Putty to remote into the Pi to copy and paste the command from windows. The power on and reset are worth it! Remember to turn off SSH after you are done. The matching RetroFlag Genesis 6 button controllers need to be setup too. Use the Dinput mode (plugin while holding Y, only need to do once) and then configure the buttons to top row: L X R, bottom row: Y B A within RetroPie and within PicoDrive to read 6 button controller within the Quick Mode/Options/Config menu (Select-X) within the megadrive game (Core override to save for all). Unfortunately, if you want to use one of these retroflag Genesis style controllers with 6 buttons alongside a retroflag SNES style controller, I was not able to have both controllers co-exist with this setup when both are in Dinput mode. I ended up getting two of these retroflag Genesis style 6 button controllers because they rock, and I wanted a Mega Drive/Genesis classic system. Also, I paired this up with a 5V 3A micro USB charger with switch from MakerSpot.Remember when Toys R Us sold the Genesis for like $189? Best retro case out there
This case looks amazing. Case seems very sturdy and very well built. Putting it together was easy. Great for the retro look. Case is tiny, but attention was put into every detail. I did have some power issues running LibreELEC that I was not experiencing with my prior CanaKit case. Seemed to run fine with RetroPie, but was getting low power playing media. After doing some research, it seems the 2.5A power supply I was using was an issue. I bought a 3A power supply (Argon ONE) and have not had any issues since. Also, the fan will not fit if you already have a regular heat sink. So you have to choose one or the other. Overall, this case is amazing. Brings back some great memories.
