I don't know the answer to this question. The label says Potassium Based Super Absorbent Polymer. You probably need to ask the supplier.

I don’t know. But I saw a few videos on YouTube. Some people did use Super Absorbent Polymer as a water source for feeder crickets

How do you use it for a neck cooler?

Although i haven't done this, it seems like all you would have to do is stitch up a tube of fabric, add some crystals to a 4-6 inch segment, stitch a seam to contain the crystals, and continue doing this until the entire length of tube was filled and stitched. Soak it in water, the tube swells, retains water, and works as an evaporative cooler around your neck. Just be sure not to put too many crystals in each section as they really swell up when water is added
