This Weber original fits prefect and turns a Q1000 into a Q1200 with side tables.
This Weber original fits prefect and turns a Q1000 into a Q1200 (kinda) with side tables. Because it's factory it has the lighting and safety instructions on the right side table, that is actually a very nice feature to have. You just need a big slot screwdriver or a #20 torx to loosen a couple bolts and the table fits right in like it was made for it. Because it was made for it ...all the q series have the same base so it is super easy to do, the holes are already in your existing base. So if you bought one thinking you didn't need the side tables and then changed your mind you are good to go! Hope this helps.

Perfect addition to my 1000 series
In 2010 bought the q1000 since added the thermostat and now the side shelves. They are a must have and use them all the time. I think the Q series grill is the best grill on the market, we live in our motorcoach for 5 months out of the year plus a week every month so our Q get a major work out. Highly recommend these shelves, only draw back wish they were aluminum but they work fine.

Totally worth it
Totally worth the $30. Easy install, took like 10 mins, all you need is a flat head screwdriver. Works on the q1000 or 1200, since the handles are designed the same- lid still closes with them folded in and everything. Definitely recommended
