i bought it because it was low in carbs the main ingredient was the 1st thing listed our cat liked it

My cats absolutely loved this food. They didn’t even need a transition period to get used it. I put down two dishes, one with their old food and one with this food, and they gobbled up this one without even touching their old food, then started begging for more. Unfortunately, as they got older, one developed a very sensitive tummy, and while she could still tolerate this food to some degree, I had to switch to a sensitive stomach food.

I have had my cats eating this food for 6 months now. I haven’t seen them get sick or throw up any food after meals. There coat is softer and they are happier. Size is perfect, last my two cats about 1 month and half. Great quality from the fact my cats haven’t thrown up or gotten sick. Lean food as my cats also seem to become lean and muscular from the nutrition balance.

My nearly 1-year-old kittens love this food. In fact, they love it so much, they broke into their food container and pigged out. The ingredients are top notch and these formerly-deathly-ill shelter kittens have grown very big and strong on Instinct. Their fur is glossy and shiny, their eyes are clear and bright, and no scratching, now that I have found a chicken-free formula. Yes, little ones can have allergies. It's great food; just be sure to order enough so that when they have shortages, which happened to us last time, you'll have enough to tide you over.

Has healthy ingredients My 4 cats are eating it. Couple prefer over the wet canned instinct, but all are eating it

Not sure why Amazon is asking me to rate the flavor of this cat food. Sadly I can't decipher what my cat is meowing at me to tell you the intricate details. I also have not eaten this cat food, nor any of my cats other foods to tell you. Otherwise, my cat seems to be smitten with this brand at the moment and the quality of the ingredients are good in my book. My cat is not a picky eater but she will frequently throw up with most cat foods we've tried. Both the duck and salmon varieties result in the least amount of throw up out of any other cat food. She has tried a several dozen brands and varieties over the last eight years. Some cat food varieties result in wet and stinky poop which seems under digested but this one does not. The price isn't the cheapest and also is not the most expensive we've tried but it doesn't have a lot of the filler ingredients that the low end varieties do. Unless she starts to refuse to eat this brand this is what I'll stick with for the time being.

My cats love the salmon flavor like a kid loves candy!

My two elderly cats have been on Nature's Variety Instinct Grain-Free foods (including the "Ultimate Protein" varieties) for over a year. Both of them have lost a considerable amount of weight in that time frame, and did not need to (i.e., they were not overweight). I switched the flavors at first, thinking they'd developed a chicken allergy, and tried them on duck, rabbit, and salmon, but they kept losing weight and vomiting (without fur balls). The reason was never discovered. At first, my cats LOVED this particular (grain-free salmon) food and devoured it. After the first bag, they refused to eat it. When I say "refused," I mean they actually appeared to prefer nothing at all to this food (grain-free salmon). The big eye opener (as if the weight loss wasn't enough) was when my male cat uncharacteristically began pulling bowls of *my* food (...in my hand...that I was actively eating) down and trying to eat it himself in lieu of free-grazing on the grain-free salmon. After having handled turkey lunch meat, he attempted to nibble on my fingers (apparently) because he was so hungry, despite open access to this food. Of course I cannot definitively say that this food is the cause of my two cat's drastic weight loss, I can attest to their sudden unwillingness to eat it (as well as it's wretched smell -- it smells a bit like death). My main purpose in posting this review is to suggest that if you try it and have found your cat/s losing a drastic amount of weight and/or being completely unwilling to eat it, please try them on something else quickly.

Buena fecha de caducidad a mis gatos les encanta este alimento

A mis gatitas les encantó. Al principio les costó un poco de trabajo acostumbrarse pero después fueron su alimento favorito. Les ayuda muchísimo con el pelaje, también les ayuda a mantener su peso, y lo más importante ayuda a que sus heces fecales no sean tan apestosas. El único punto malo que le encuentro es que el alimento tiene un olor algo fuerte como a “mariscos”.

Miau Bueno a mi gatita le encanta. Dejo de hacer aguado por que salió intolerante al los granos la muy fina hahaha

Son de una marca confiable, a mi gato le gustan mucho y se las come sin problema, lo cual ya es un gran punto a favor. La calidad en general se nota buena, pero el único detalle es que tienen un olor bastante fuerte, más marcado de lo que esperaba. No es algo grave, pero sí se nota al abrir la bolsa. En resumen: buena opción, aunque con ese pequeño inconveniente.
