Go-to boot.
This boot is extremely flattering! So warm and cozy that it's becoming both my go-to wear-with-everything boot and my snowshoeing boot. I just hiked 5 miles in them on their first outing and my feet stayed cozy and comfy - nary a moment of rubbing or discomfort. I'll note that I wouldn't use them for hiking regularly and certainly not on rocky terrain, but I wanted to get them out on a wet trail and see how they held up. They were surprisinging good on a moderately difficult trail. In fact they were so light on my feet that it felt like wearing trail running shoes. Feet stayed warm and dry and the mud wiped right off. They look like new again. Tomorrow I'll wear them with a skirt in the pouring rain and see how they do.They are very light and flexible. Love this! I love how they let my foot flex and move. They look stylish enough to wear out and about and seem rugged enough to take some abuse. I bought a half size up per other recommendations and am glad I did. They fit just right with a pair of good socks. They also come with a removable insert which I like. I have a 14 1/2" calf circumference and the side panels do allow them to fit my legs, but if yours are much larger - it might not work. I will also note that I find them to be quite warm, so if you have sweaty feet - beware. Mine are always on the chilly side though, so it was a novel experience to have warm feet all day.

Not snow/waterproof
These fit good, but they leak and my feet were wet all day. I don't really wear them if its snowing out, which is why I bought them, so I feel like I wasted my money

Princess Leia Boots
These boots pack all the style any princess of Alderaan could want, while also being comfortable and functional. It's much easier to pretend that I am leading a rebel army when I wear these. Cozy and durable, they hold up well in different types of weather and the rubber / sneaker soles make it easy to make a quick (and relatively quiet) getaway from storm troopers. I can wear thin socks and stay toasty warm all day, too.Admittedly, my coworkers frown on my new hairstyle and penchant for laser weapons, but they have to admit my taste in footwear is exemplary. The zippers can stick a little bit, so take care when putting them on and taking them off. There isn't much give in the calf or the toe, so order a half size up (these won't stretch / break in like leather boots).

rugged yet attractive and comfortable
I purchased this boot when I became a nanny for two children who love nothing more than romping through Rock Creek Park near their home in all kinds of weather. I thought mud would be less visible on theses shoes and the rubber toe and heel would stand up to scraping rocks and vines and branches. I did not realize just how tough the fabric is. A boot with any kind of real or fake leather surface would be scuffed up and scratched up all over by now. There isn't even one small scratch on the fabric. Not one. Also, the flexibility of the fabric means that scrunching the boots while picking up a leaf or twisting them while gaining a foothold climbing a tree is easy. Nothing but fabric could be so accommodating. The calves of the boot are more to the slim side than the wide, great for me. They have a stretch band (as one can see in the image) for those with wider calves but I can't vouch for how comfortable these boots would be on a wide-calved person. As for my own comfort I can say that, they score above average and they look slender enough to dress up a bit, say for a casual lunch with friends, That's pretty good for boots as rugged as these!

Item sent was not the same as pictured.... Seriously overpriced.
I was in search of white boots to complete a costume. First of all, the item pictured is white, when I received the boots they were grey. Not very happy!!! Also, the zippers stick and there is not much room in the calf area. I would've only given this item 1 star, but these boots are pretty comfy and I will wear them on a regular basis. Overpriced! I would definitely not pay more than $30 for these boots.

comfortable and warm, great for narrow feet and calves
I have small calves - 13". These are slightly loose but a perfect over pants and thick socks. As soon as I put them on (even with short socks) I can feel the warmth. I have not tested them in the snow yet, but did take a long walk in the cold rain. They are extremely light - I thought the box was empty. This makes them perfect for traveling. The zipper is slightly hard to get up but I just hold the top sides together for easier zipping - I don't think this is a huge problem. They do feel slightly short but not enough for me to size up. Since I have a narrow foot I will put an insert in them since on the walk I could feel my foot moving.I could see some glue at the toe - I assume this is the waterproofing/sealing but I had to look for it. Overall - if you find them on sale they are worth it. I would buy another color if I find them for a good price again or wait for next years version.
