Comparing the “Blossong White” to a true white for you to see here.
The only real disappointment with this plate ware is how BLUE the Blossom White shade is. I laid this plate next to a true white one to show you the difference. I wish it was described this way in the listing. I got these to gift to my mom to replace her mismatched plates and mugs with one uniform neutral set. I love the flowers, but these may also limit their use to spring/summer. Otherwise, a solid, durable plate that withstands dishwashing and microwaving alike.

So cute!
I needed everyday dishes and came across the Pfaltzgraff Blossom White dishes. The dishes are really pretty and sturdy. The white is almost a pale grey, which is perfect for me. I like the size of the bowls, not too big and not too small.

More Blue Than White
I had to check the pattern a few times when we unpacked these dishes. They are classified as "blossom white", but they have more of a pale blue tone to them than bright white. They also all are 'distressed' in their own way so there is definite variation in color from plate to plate. So be warned, at least my set was much more pale blue than white. At first, I wasn't crazy about the pattern, but it has really grown on me.Beyond the color issue, this is a hefty set. All the pieces are heavy, solid, and strong. Even though they are hefty, they still are microwave safe (although the bowls can get a little hot if you nuke them for a while). I haven't dropped any of the pieces, so I don't know how crash resistant they are, but I'm much more careful about other items in my sink when I put these plates in it (as a collision between one of these pieces and a glass will be no contest, Pfaltzgraff would win by a landslide)

Loving these dishes, but just know the white ones are really a grey/blue color
I'm crazy about these dishes. I love the look, the feel, even the style. But do know that in person they are very much more of a light, pale blue/grey shade than a white color. There's really nothing white about them. They're a light greyish blue and they're beautiful. But don't get them thinking they're white or even off white. They are much more of a grey color, with a blue hue.The dishes are weighty and nicely sized. I've been using them for a couple months now and they haven't chipped, scratched and I've not had any of them break on me. I put them in the dishwasher, the microwave and the refrigerator and there's been no problems. Love these dishes, just know that they are not at all white.

a super dinner set
I have lots of old Corning Ware dishes, and while they have held up for many years I decided to give this new set a try.I don't have a lot to say about this set other than that it's:1. Handsome2. Sturdy3. Feels nice to holdNothing about this set looks or feels or is cheap. And it's not outrageously expensive! Dishwasher and microwave safe. I look forward to decades of use with this set, which includes a dinner plate, salad plate, mug and soup bowl.

Lovely Dinnerware Set
Pfaltzgraff makes quality dinnerware. The first set I ever owned (a wedding gift) was Pfaltzgraff and we still own most of those plates and saucers (they've become our backups). I was curious to see how a set from 2018 would compare to the set I received 20+ years ago at my wedding. It appears as though the quality level hasn't changed at all--these look, feel, and function just like my older set, they just show less signs of wear (obviously). They're lovely, and we like them so much, we may end up buying an additional set and making them our primary "go to" dinnerware.

Nice dishes, but too expensive!
We love these dishes. When we originally received them to try out and review they were about $120 for the set, which seems reasonable and comparable for similar items. Now they are showing as $243 per set which in no way is anything I would pay for dishes. As you keep that pricing info in mind, here is my review. They are solid dishes, they are easy to clean and we have yet to have any chips or other issues show up. I like how they go with my colorful house decor without clashing with anything and the flower design is a cute touch.

Pretty! and sturdy
I gave my sister a Pfaltzgraff set similar to this, with a different pattern, as a house-warming gift, and she and her fiancée have really liked them. So I got this set to give to a friend who is moving into his own place soon. It’s a sturdy set, 4 pieces of each essential piece. The mugs are great for tea!I like the Blossom White because it kinda goes with everything, so that’s what I got, but honestly if I were getting it for myself I’d get the Chocolate color :)
