Awesome book lots of vivid pictures and subtext

Love most things about this book. Beautiful illustrations, fun facts, and good information. I am deducting a couple stars though as this book completely omits the entire reproductive system. Are we seriously that terrified of talking about sex with our kids that we just pretend an entire body system doesn't exist when studying anatomy?I bought this for my 3.5 year old as she is intrigued by all things science. She asked if the stomach is where babies grow and I was explaining that they actually grow in their mommy's uterus, which apparently doesn't exist in this book. I had to pull out my college A&P book to show her.

Really great photos!! I wish they’d have included the reproductive systems but it’s still a five star book!

Very informative and pictures are also engaging a few are down right icky but it is our body after all
