This unit works well once it is installed. Fortunately for me, my friend knew how to install it since mine did not come with instructions. I could not find the instructions or a video on line.

This door sweeper is a life saver, i have uneven floor at the back door and when the door is close there is about a 1 1/4 gap space, well i can say this door sweeper solved that problem.

I have used these Flexomatic sweeps for years because they work so well, and solve the problem of getting a good draft seal when a door opens onto carpeting. It’s a simple but brilliant invention.

I have used several on my home and in business over the years. Good products and last well.

Well made product, except the spring is not quite strong enough to push it up to its limit. I had to add a home-made spring to make it flip all the way up to clear door mat and threshold. Good product, otherwise.

Bought one for my apartment and want to seal the door gap but the resistance from carpet seems too large and make it not work great. （might be my own installation problem）

Easy installation but not had exposure to cold weather yet and looks like it will be a good draft protection.

I cut it with a hack saw, not easy, but I'm 67 and did it. A bedroom door with a big gap at the floor needed something to keep out noise and light . This helped. I could not find anything like it anywhere else.

I bought this to replace a rigid sweep that was intended to keep critters from coming in an exterior door in a summer property, but which I was afraid might be scraping the floor which slopes up on the inside. This sweep fits snugly enough when closed to keep out drafts as well as curious mouse and chipmunk ingress, and allowed the door to open as far as the sloping floor allows without scraping. I used a hacksaw to cut the metal portion to length and a file to smooth burrs from the cut. The vinyl portion slides out on one end so I was able to cut them separately and reassemble.

The sweep works as advertised, installation is simple when the directions are followed. It is not made of ceramic material but aluminium. Requires a hacksaw to cut to length required which is not difficult. Measure and mark the height indicated on the instructions and screw in place.
