Good device for what it is...not for what some may want though.
This does not have a lot of bells and whistles, but for the price, it actually has quite a bit. More than you could get for a device twice the price. It DOES have its limitations, however. They should have made it a little bigger to allow for a bigger screen, and maybe added something to allow it to mount to bicycles, or vehicles, etc. All it has is a lanyard to wear it around your neck. But that means it really is only useful for hiking in terms of looking it it on the go. Otherwise it is pretty much strictly a logger. That may sound like a bad review, but it isn't. That is all I wanted. But when I saw the other things it offered, it would have been nice if I could have used it as my main bike computer. Or at least mounted it alongside my Cateye to be able to view the breadcrumb map, etc. while I am riding. But as long as you know what you are buying, you will not likely be disappointed. IT does a hell of a lot more than the $120 Garmin Edge 200. With far more accurate logging.

Usable, but with problems
The unit is pretty good. But there are significant downsides to the product.1) The software is unusable. The log files can be opened and edited with other programs, so this is a surprisingly minor inconvenience.2) The documentation is inadequate.3) It seems to be impossible to read or write POIs (points of interest), except by either travelling to the spot or tediously typing in the coordinates. I'd hoped to be able to mark a place on the map and be guided to the point, but it seems to function only as a "return home" feature in practice. This makes it useless for geocaching, for instance.4) The battery life is barely adequate. Recording fewer points may extend it. I seem to be getting around 12-17 hours, depending on settings. I bought a USB recharger, which indirectly solves the problem. It does appear to work with the charger attached though, so that'd extend its endurance significantly.5) The two button interface is workable, but annoying.6) The screen is quite small. Some info screens are legible, but a few have text too small to read easily. It serves most of the purposes for which I bought it, but it has substantial problems and I'm a bit disappointed. . For the price, I'd buy it again.

Software does not work.
The device seems to work well however the screen is too small and the UI is differcult for regular use without the PC software. That's the real problem. The program gets errors when trying to import your tracks from the device. Most of the links in what little documentation that can be found do not work or go to non-existent pages including the one link that I found for software updates. I was able to extract some tracks using other processes and the data colected does look good but the extra steps makes it cumbersome to use on a reqular basis. I have returned it.

Nice product - Excellent reception (event inside a commercial jet
Nice product -Excellent reception (event inside a commercial jet ...)Reasonable battery life (could be even better if the display could be turned off, not only reduce brightness, during logging)

Worth the price
Used it on a 12 mile Kendall Katwalk. It worked great! we are still figuring out some of the modes, but i lasted over 6 hours and still has half battery left. Worth the price

Not what I expected
This did not meet my expectations at all. I wanted a unit that was easy to use, showed GPS coordinates, small, and had the ability to be tranferred to a computer. It was small, that's it. The directions were confusing, the disc that came with it was really hard to understand and didn't help with any of my questions. I'll spend more and get what I want in features.

Smaller than expected; very accurate tracking
Much smaller than it appears in the picture. It's about finger length and about double the width of one.Very accurate from my testing, I'll put it to the real test on an upcoming trip. The only concern I have is the rubber covering for the buttons-- it feels like it may come loose someday.

Three Stars
Just too small to quickly use the setup for the G-PORTER!

Very good, low priced GPS logger and geotagger for photographs
I quite like this device. I originally bought it for geotagging pictures on my Fuji X-T1. The Fuji cell phone app didn't really work that well so this certainly seemed like a good alternative, and it has so far worked very well. The good- it is a small unit, probably slightly larger then a USB stick. The pictures here are a bit deceiving, it is indeed small. It is a GPS logger, but it has a lot of additional features beyond a typical logging unit. I have not learned all the features yet, but I'm quite happy with what I have seen so far.The bad- because it is a small unit, the buttons and the read out is small. If you can get around that aspect, this unit will work well.Would I buy it again? You bet I would.

Difficult to use, display is too small
Cannot seem to get it to track, menu system is difficult to read, only 2 buttons to navigate and select. Likely works technically, but not usable. I thought I was buying a basic tracker.

G-Porter GP-102+ for geo tagging photos
I use this device to help me geo tag my photos along with the software that comes with it, works great. This little unit holds its charge very well & if put away with a reasonable charge will last months & even when being used it lasts ages.A great little device.

Small and accurate gps logger
Great, small gps logger. Battery life is great and simple to use. Screen is a bit small. All tracks are .fit files and need to be converted to .gpx files to be unable, and extra step.
