Good value for the money - warm and waterproof and superbly reflective on dark miserable nights in the winter. Even if I replaced it every winter it’d be well worth the cost. My only gripe is it’s definitely very roomy so if you order large you’d need to be a pretty large fella, and the lack of side pockets is a nuisance with keys and what have you. Those aside, I’d recommend

Looks light grey in outdoor light, shines a bit in electric light, and reflects very brightly in the general direction of the light source. Good quality fabric, feels as if it will be robust and last a good while. Has a lining too, so the jacket is not ultralight, i.e. it does not pack into a tiny space. Has a small external chest pocket, but no other pockets e.g. for hands.

Very visible at night. Good wind and rain proofing. Well thought out pockets. Sturdy zip. Comfortable collar lining. I'm a stocky 6'3" and found the xxl just right - loose enough that you can fit a light fleece underneath if needed, but snug enough that you're not like a sail in the wind

This is a good quality reflective cycling jacket that I use when cycling to and from work. I cycle to work each day, so it is important for me to have the right jacket to stay dry, warm and to be seen. I have had this for nearly a year now and it is relatively light weight, can be packed into a bag, but has remained waterproof and reflective. It is ideal for when I cycle at night and/or in the rain and I’m pleased with my purchase. It cost me £42.99 in January 2019.

I love this jacket! Great fit, looks stylish, totally waterproof, warmer than you might expect, lightweight and most importantly makes you incredibly visible at night. This is a must if you are cycling in the dark and is available at a great price...

First off I loved this jacket so much that after a couple of months I bought a second jacket - big mistake!The positives (and there are some!):The reflective material rocks - it's really shiny, and I felt really very safe riding in this at night through the city and backroads of Manchester.The waterproofing - it works and still does after many months of almost daily wear (not cracking of this coating on my jackets) - ok it is a bit like wearing a bin bag - not great venting - but I'm ok with that and the fit was really good (I went well oversized however)The negatives:A day or two after my second jacket arrived a tear appeared in jacket 1 - it was outside the return period but surely it should lasted more than 3 months. This was a huge tear running from a weak seem down the back of the jacket and its beyond me how I could repair it (certainly masking tape doesn't work).I thought ok well at least I have my new jacket and surely that first one was an outlier - well 6 months later and the exact same thing has just happened to jacket 2 - so it's obviously just a really poorly made jacket.I suppose on the positive side they are both much better vented now!It's a shame as I really loved the reflectivity of the jacket and it got a lot of positive comments from other commuters for this but I guess it's time to invest in a better quality cycling jacket - for £50 I think we should expect better!The photos are the rips on the two jackets both in exactly the same location!

Got this around 3 years ago for winter cycle commuting and it was great for the first year - really reflective so very visible for commuting in the darker months. Not so visible in the daytime though especially on overcast days as it just looks a non-descript grey. It's warm when needed, and there is a back vent panel that works ok if you're not wearing a backpack. The jacket can be vented even more with the nicely positioned underarm zips if it gets a little too steamy on non-rainy days. The mesh lining helps stop the outer layer sticking to skin if you do start to sweat a little, and for colder days there is a fleece lining to the collar to help keep your neck warm and the wind out if you zip up. It was also comparatively cheap for a commuting waterproof jacket.Unlike a few other reviewers, I had no issues with the stitching or zips, but did have to stitch the cuff adjusters in place as the velcro failed after a few months.Despite some decent features for the price, by the second winter the surface fabric had started to show signs of wear around highly creased areas under the arms and especially in the crook of the elbows. This year I wore it for the first time on one rainy commute but now the cracks now show the substrate fabric underneath (see the photos) which is NOT waterproof - I ended up with very large wet patches on my work shirt sleeves and other odd patches here and there where the rain got through the various cracks very quickly. Given the nature of the outer fabric (which normally isn't very breathable) it's not possible to reproof it unfortunately so the jacket can no longer be used for its intended purpose, which is a real shame.It's fine if you don't need to keep dry on a journey, but not if you need something that'll take wear and tear for more than a year or two and still keep you dry in the rain.

It's best to bullet point the good and not so good.It is super reflective - great on the bike.It is waterproof and wind resistant.Flocked neck gives comfort. Adjustable arms prevent wind egress.The internal netting gives a slight barrier when wicking sweat from the jacket/ body.The only slight downsides are the fit, moisture control and feel.It feels really big and not tapered in the right places. This effects the size and weight when folded too.There is no release for moisture.Feels like wearing a plastic bag, scrunching around.All said I do really like the jacket, only with a couple of adjustments it would be absolutely perfect.

Die Jacke sieht gut aus, bei Tageslicht silbergrau und in der Dunkelheit stark und komplett reflektierend wie man es von Reflektionsstreifen an Sicherheitskleidungleider fällt die 3 XL mindestens 2 Nummern zu klein aus und geht somit zurück.

Goed produkt :-). In tegenstelling tot andere fietsjassen, die meestal licht uitvallen, is de Ettore een warmere vest. De buitenste laag is al vrij stevig en dan zit er nog een tweede laag van gaas in.Dus bestempel het eerder een wintervest dan een zomervest. Is ook logisch vermits je 's zomers de reflecterende eigenschappen van de vest minder zult nodig hebben.Door het gaas van de tweede laag enerzijds en de gaten in de buitenste laag anderzijds is de vest inderdaad ademend. De reflecterende eigenschappen zijn ziooals ik verhoopt had. Bij lichtinval val je direct op, dus night glow zoals beloofd.Er is tevens gelet op de details. Alle openingen of ritsen zijn goed afgeschermd. Op de kol in de nek zit dan weer een zachte stof.Kortom ik ben heel tevreden met mijn koop.Dankzij een andere recensie kocht ik mij maat L. Ik ben 1.80m groot en weeg 80 Kg.

Je l'utilise tous les jours 30 minutes matin et soir pour sur mon vélo pour me rendre au travail de nuit. J'en suis très content, quand je l'eclaire dans le noir elle est bien visible, elle supporte bien la machine à laver. Les tailles correspondent bien. Je suis même tombé un matin, j'ai glissé un peu sur le bras et elle n'a pas bougé. Je suis vraiment content de mon achat, je recommande.

La chaqueta es una pasada acabados de primera,cremalleras que no dejan pasar el agua y lo mejor su efecto reflectante además me servirá de abrigo pues no deja pasar el aire y calienta bastante con una termica debajo vas sobrado. Muy contento con la compra todo un acierto la recomiendo 100% calidad precio inmejorables.
