Victorinox 4" Poultry Shears

As usual, Victorinox provided their usual high quality in these shears. Heavy duty, easy to clean. I could have found cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

Bought to break down whole chickens. I might as well be using my kids' scissors. Dull and not comfortable.

This product was purchased to replace a 40-year old pair of Hoffritz poultry shears whose spring lock has broken. No comparison. I sent the Victorinox back, and am holding the Hoffritz together with a rubber band except when it is in use. I confess that I never actually used the Victorinox, which is probably adequate for many tasks, but it was clearly not built for turkey, and because it's so small it's a bit unwieldy. Sadly, the company that bought Hoffritz has simply stopped making Hoffritz products, or products of any quality.

Nice shear ,not as strong as I thought on the cut.
