Just what I needed
Following a SATA SSD upgrade my T470 was giving me an Error 2102: Detection error on storage device (main hdd) message on boot. Since both the new and old drive worked when connected to other machines, it seemed likely the (apparently very fragile) SATA cable was the culprit was the cause, and indeed it was. Popped this replacement in, and the system booted into Windows right away without issue. Exactly what was needed. My only complaint is that the connector on the motherboard pointed the wrong way. Not a big issue to twist the cable to have it point the right way, but given that the previous one had failed under gentle handling, I would have preferred it to point the right way from the start. That's a very minor issue though.
