The bulbs were received when expected and the box was just enough to make them secure. I have been using the bulbs and they work just as advertised.

when the merchandise arrived it was a different brand--Osram. i have no idea how it compares to sylvania.

It's perfect!
Because these are a specialty bulb, they are not easy to find in a store. I like to keep a lot of them on hand. This is the way to go. They were delivered almost immediately. They're perfect and the ease of purchase is beyond description. Why buy bulbs any other way.

I ordered these, but a complete;ly different set of halogen lights were delivered. I returned them.These seem impossible to get.

BEWARE! DO NOT PUT THESE IN RECESSED CEILING FIXTURES!
The Sylvania website indicates that this bulb has a DICHOTIC reflector. These send heat up into the ceiling and according to some research I did, can cause a fire if you install them in recessed lighting. They are made for display lighting (open) that sends heat away from the article being lit -- i.e, they send heat UP. Aluminized reflectors send heat DOWN, so they won't melt your wiring, pins, etc. Halogens get extremely hot. Make sure you are getting the right bulb for your recessed ceiling lights!
