Full Throttle Youth Rapid Dry Flex-Back Life Jacket

This fits my granddaughter well w some room to grow. She is 9 yo, 70#.Just wondering WHY I paid $74 and the sticker on the jacket says $39.99. What a fool I am.

I really liked this life jacket but it unfortunately was way too big for my 55lb son. It says it ranges from 50-90lbs, but it could easily be pulled up over his head and was not safe for the lower end of that weight range.

We have tried a lot of kids life vests for swimming, and most ride up around the neck and head when actually used for swimming (as opposed to boating). Because of the split back design of these, the ways the panels are designed and the stretch of the fabric, it is possible to get a tight custom fit. They take longer to dry than other life vests due to the material, but the one we bought last year actually seems better in this regard than the one we bought several years ago so perhaps there have been some improvements in this area.

Runs really small around chest and doesn't provide any give.

This life jacket fits my 65 pound son very well with room to grow. It's nice and flexible and doesn't get caught up under his chin when he swims. Great for swimming around in the lake.

Use it for one winter and our kids love the best. It doesn't cut in their neck.
