MaxKare Heating Pad Electric Fast-Heating Warming Pad 4 Temperature Settings,Heating Pads for Back Pain Moist Heat Therapy Option Auto Shut-Off and Machine Washable- 12" x 24"

The pad is smaller than 12x24, I contacted the company about it but never got a response. It does have a SUPER soft cover that goes over the top that makes it APPEAR larger than it is, unfortunately the pad moves around too much inside it because it's smaller than the cover (I completely removed the cover). The pad itself is also very soft which is good and bad. Its not stiff like a traditional heating pad so it bunches up pretty much while using it but is more flexible to put over your shoulders and around the neck. I would have returned it but needed a heating pad immediately and had to use it. It does get very warm but the heat doesn't seem consistent over the whole pad. Its not a horrible heating pad but is definitely not what I expectedEDIT******Customer service had contacted me and I had somehow missed the message! They did follow up again and attempt to resolve my issue. They sent me a replacement and the heating element on it was much better than the 1st 1 I received. As I said, its a very soft pad.....I think I'm just use to the stiffness of the old school hearing pads ;)

***UPDATE- no change in rating*** it has been nearly a year and this heating pad is still running strong! My dad stole it in the summer to use for his sore back. He uses it DAILY for at least two hours. He has had zero problems with this heating pad, it is still working the same as when it was brand new! It is so soft (the pad and the cover), which is nice when using for my neck. It isnt cold on bare skin like those plastic ones until they warm up. Heats up well and at good temperatures, I love using it for my shoulders and neck. My only complaint would be that the controls are hard to see or feel, but I did get used to it after a few uses. I would recommend!

I was having some severe lower/middle back pain and heat was the only thing that really seemed to relieve the pain. I was tired of heating gel pads in the microwave so I turned to this - it was the smartest thing I could've done. It's easy to change the heat settings and it's large enough to cover my back (I'm 5'4"). It has done wonders for alleviating my pain.

I purchased this pad for my wife to use for some castor oil wrap thing she needs to do for her foot that requires heat applied to it. It is ample big enough to wrap around the wrap around her footThe cover feels amazingly soft. The actual pad itself is quite soft also but you can feel the heating wires through it quite obviously so using it in it's little pillowcase cover is preferable for comfort in my opinion. Before it became a foot wrap I did use it on my neck, which was stiff from work, for a few minutes and it felt pretty amazing.My wife did not want to model her foot on Amazon so there are not really any pictures I can take that show anything more than the stock ones in the listing itself.

First I though I got a broken one since it stopped heating after one hour use. But actually it has a safety system to shut down automatically. I think it’s very safe for me to heat up my feet in bed, and avoid the overheating or low temperature burn.Why I really want to recommend this is because once it has been heated up, you can unplug it and carry it everywhere in the house. I use it for my period. The heat can last about an hour. It comes with a very comfortable cover which you can wash it after use. Super durable and convenient! The size is pretty small. But I think it’s good for office use or for a small body part use. When you don’t need it, simply just hide it somewhere. Only need a small space to storage it.Girls, get this for your cold feet and period use. Recommend it a lot.

I got this to replace an old run of the mill sunbeam heating pad that was probably 15 years old. This thing is so so soft. Both the pad itsself and the minky sleeve outer layer. I love that I can do moist heat with this. The controls are very simple and easy to use. I just wish it got a little hotter, I like it borderline scalding personally, but I can see how that would be a manufacturing no no lol

I read all these reviews before I bought mine. It definitely does. Use it for a while (just one time) and you will see. It works with your body. Love the softness of it (not hard plastic like my other more expensive one is). Cover is soft and inside workings aren't hard. The size is quite good also - used on my lower back and then on my neck. Really like the option of Auto Turn Off OR Manual settings (gives you control). Cord is plenty long and well placed. Controls are super easy to use.

I thought the detachable cord would be nice feature to allow for machine washing, but it is bulky and gets in the way. Other than that, this pad works as described.Additional note. Customer service has been excellent! After they saw this review, I was compensated with a larger pad so that the cord is not in the way or uncomfortable when I use the pad on my back. I am quite impressed.
