Professional Electric Two Stage Knife & Scissor Sharpener Grind Sharpen Hone

I found this this knife sharpener so easy to use I cant understand why I have put up with blunt knifes for so long. I would recommend this product to anyone who like myself is fed up with blunt knifes. I found it really solid and well made and in my opinion with care it will give many years of service.

The sharpener works very well. We had a learning curve on the right technique for use as the instructions are not very clear to use it properly you must very very gently pull the blade through the appropriate slot on no account must you push the blade down as it will damage the stone. Gently Is the way to do it, but once you have the right technique it is really good.

Been using this sharpener for a while now, it does what it's meant to do.Keeps all my knives nice and sharpValue for money? I would say YES.

Works well for medium and long knives.Not of great use for short or curved blades.Quite noisy, but that was only to be expected.I have one problem though: there seems to be slightly difference between the distance from left and right side of the blade in both cases: guides which grind and sharpens, and guides which hone. It looks like both sharpening stones are a bit too far to the left.

Wanted this for scissors, but it isn’t so good. Grinding wheels slow down if pushed. Grooves in unit enable some guidance but knife and scissors can jam. The suckers on the base help for the short time it’s in use, but they are not the best.

This machine is great for knives.I've even sharpened really old knives successfully. I haven't managed to sharpen scissors, I think there must be a technique but I haven't found it. But as I've said brilliant for knives.

Running my knifes passed just a couple of time brings them back to very sharp just need a light touch with it or it does stop but would recommend it
