At first I was a bit apprehensive wether to buy but I got it at a good price so thought I would take a chance, I'm glad I did. A very unique experience. Comes with plenty of cards to make 100s of different beats and remixes. Great to play on your own I found myself just playing freestyle mode for hours.You can play several game modes but please note the most player you can do is 2 unless you team up so if you have a lot of people wanting to play you will have to do winner stays on or something to that effect.You connect the board to your mobile device via the app and Bluetooth. It's very quick and easy to do although I would recommend connecting an external speaker as well because you don't get the best sound quality from built in phone speakers but I used just that for months and still had plenty of fun.If you are a music lover or someone who likes to remix songs or even buying for a child I couldn't recommend it enough. Definitely worth it and it's easy to pick up extra cards on eBay very cheap.

Ok, so I got this as it was on sale as it looked kinda cool and I thought it might be a bit of fun over Christmas but OMG we've sunk so many hours into this and everyone loves it. There are 4 game modes, Clash (1-4player), Party (1-5 players), puzzle (1 player) and Freestyle. Clash is a highly competitive game where you need to score 21 to win and it gets incredibly frantic and tense at times. In party, requests are called and you work together to find cards that match the requests. The faster you play your card the more points you win. This is the simplest game mode for people to get started with. Puzzle is where I've lost hours. The aim is to clear blocks by strategically playing cards at the right time and it is ADDICTIVE. Just jamming along to the beat while you work out your next move is bliss. Freestyle you play cards to create custom mixes, from here you can adjust tempo and key signature. Another crowd pleaser and there's always something to discover.The system works by connecting to your phone or tablet via Blutooth. Each card has an RFID chip that is recognised by the deck and the software plays the corresponding sample. Combine multiple samples and loops to create a unique track. It's just an absolute pleasure to play and I can't wait to spend more time with it and have more family and friends try it for themselves.Simply magic and just brilliant.

Hours of noisy, family fun. Love it! Knocked a star off because there were no proper instructions included and we had to search on the internet. Also, there were a lot of cards included, but because they each form just one aspect of a track there aren't actually as many songs as it appears initially. We will be buying more cards but it does add to the cost. Still..... excellent (and very clever) product.

I don't understand how this game didn't turn into a massive hit... Was it the high price it was launched at? Was it the music selection? I don't know.What I know is that it was a massive success within my family and friends! I gave it to my wife for Christmas and we took it to a family gathering on Boxing Day. 10 minutes after we started playing, 3 people had already ordered theirs on Amazon!It's a clever and really great idea. The cards represent instruments or voices on certain musics and have a sensor. When you stack them on the board, you add that instrument or voice to the current song. So, for example, you can mix Katy Perry's voice with Nickback's drums (I know, who in they're right mind would do that?!? But DropMix lets you).What's more amazing is that the music result is really consistent and nice!!! You actually create something new that always sounds good! You have to try it to believe.This is a must have if you have friends and family who like music, specially for the current price!

my kids enjoyed this a few times then the novelty wore off..not a game they would turn to or play for long spells

Gave this to my brother for Christmas (he’s 23) the perfect present and lots of fun late into the night. Game mode, in my opinion, isn’t it’s best feature - the free style mixing is amazing. I don’t know how they do it but all mixes sound awesome and in this pack you get a good amount of cards. Already planning to buy more cards though.Great game, great price!

This was the surprise hit at Christmas- everyone wanted to play with it from young to old. The app is good and easy to use. Endless possibilities to create music and any combination can compile change with tempo and key. Freeplay mode is really good fun, music is created by placing cards on the deck and the app mixes them together.The biggest surprise was the game function which is really clever, simple to pick up and quite strategic. Up to 4 players can play at once making it good for groups.The 60 cards that come with it is more than adequate to start and additional cards can be bought for more variations.

My 6 year old daughter loves music and this went down very well, it’s fun, creative and contemporary. As parents we enjoyed the mixing but there’s lots of games you can play too using the app. It’s a winner with her older teenage cousins too

Very fun game for a good price

DropMix non è il miglior gioco da tavolo esistente e non ci va nemmeno vicino ad esserlo. Ma è un prodotto unico e funziona alla grande in quello che promette di fare.Modalità per tutti i gusti, 1vs1, 2vs2, full co-op e addirittura due modalità solitario, senza citare il puro Freestyle dove creare il proprio personale Mix da poter riascoltare quando si vuole.Tornando al gioco da tavolo, non è sicuramente un top, ma non è da sottovalutare, non è stato buttato a caso e c'è una discreta strategia dietro.E' pura magia vedere come ogni singola carta aggiunta al lotto di quelle già sulla console, si vada ad amalgamare (quasi) sempre perfettamente, senza rovinare o stonare nulla.Il fatto di potersi creare il mazzo personale è un plus non da poco, così da poter scegliere (con il giusto bilanciamento dei livelli delle carte, come detto, gioco non cervellotico, ma pur sempre ben pensato nel suo semplice modo di essere) le proprie canzoni preferite tra quelle "su carta".E' un peccato che in Italia non sia arrivato "ufficialmente" (l'app, necessaria per giocare, ha la lingua italiana) e che le espansioni non siano di immediata reperibilità, perché è un gioco con del potenziale, sia per chi gioca e conosce il mondo dei gdt nel profondo, sia per chi ne conosce solo la superficie, ma anche solo per chi ama la musica e si divertirebbe a mixare le tracce per poi riascoltarsele in cuffia.

Very nice game to play for all ages! I'm not happy with the additional FREE Playlist Pack as in the website picture was shown Hip-Hop playlist, but instead, I got a Pop playlist, which I already ordered separately and would be chosen another one instead if I knew that FREE Playlist Pack is Pop. Also, the additional 2 Discovery Packs are the same, but in the picture they were different.
