Nice and bright
This worked great for detecting freon leaks in an automotive A/C system. It’s perfect for spotting those little things that regular lights just can’t pick up, like pet stains or hidden markings. It has great power with its UV 395-405 nm LED. The beam is strong and covers a good area, making it super handy for all kinds of tasks. Plus, it feels solid and well-made. If you need a high-quality UV flashlight that does the job right, this one’s definitely worth checking out!

Better than expected for the price. Uses 18650. Focusable.
Very nice for the price. I've been using a pocket UV flashlight powered by 3xAAA for the longest time for lures and circuit board work. Recently I changed to a different resin and that old flashlight just takes forever and burns through batteries like crazy.(AAA flashlight on left, this ultrafire on the right in photos)Was looking for an 18650 or 21700 powered flashlight since I have such batteries readily available. This thing kicks. Far more powerful and it has a focusable lens which is superb for when I only need to cure in a small area.It has no charging circuit. So you will need a way to charge your 18650 outside the device.Very solid construction. Pleasantly surprised. The clip is secured with screws not a tension ring. Total game changer. Never have to worry the flashlight escaped the clip.Size is nice imo. Good hand fit for holding normally. Little awkward if you want to hold it like a penlight though because it's back heavy.Only con: no lanyard/ring holeI would buy more of these for ice fishing (jigging glow in the dark lures) but without a way to secure it to my person I might have to pass. There are holes in the clip if you wanted to tie on there but then it gets funky not hanging straight.

Strong, effective black light—just be ready for the unusual battery
This is a powerful UV flashlight that really does its job well. Whether you’re checking for pet stains, leaks, or other hidden messes, the beam is strong and clear, and it reveals details even in well-lit areas. The one thing to note: it requires a 18650 rechargeable battery, which isn’t something most people have lying around. You’ll likely need to order it separately, and it’s not included with the flashlight.Still, excellent performance overall—just be sure to have the right power source ready to go.

It's good, small and bright.
I bought this flashlight for uranium glass shopping. Testing it on the uranium glass I already have, it works as expected. I took it paint shopping recently too. I was looking for what paints are UV reactive, to spice up some things I'm planning on making. The added bonus is that it charged up the glow-in-the-dark paints too. It's nice being able to test paints in the store, especially with this compact size. My older lights were much larger, and more cumbersome to carry into stores discretely. It takes a standard 18650 battery. We have a bunch for other lights and assorted stuff. 18650s are the new standard for portable devices, replacing AA/AAA batteries that would just die off fast.

Simple 18650 uv
I wanted a cheap, single led, uv light for disc golf. The multi light affairs seem weak. I have a charger and a bunch of 18650 batts so this was perfect. It will be great for throwing at night or finding discs at night that I lost earlier. It charges my Eclipse discs in a snap. Noticed someone complained about batteries down below. You can get cr123a batteries at almost any grocery store and two should work fine . These are not rechargeable and therefore fairly inexpensive. I think they have less voltage and last a bit, while an 18650 will have higher output for shorter periods....at least I think that's how it works.

can't find batteries that fit.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:this item was small and exactly what i wanted to search for rocks. HAHA joke is on me... it doesn't work without batteries. Good luck finding batteries... this is unfortunate. so it went in the trash because by the timevi looked and looked for batteries at every store on town... the return had expired...

Solid UV Light
Bought this for several reasons, but the most influential was to use it to track game after dark. This light is really bright and has white light mixed in so I don't need two flashlights when working after dark. Blood trail glows like neon with this light and makes it much easier to track your game after dark. Not sure how it works for curing resins but it does work well for locating stains on carpet and furniture, locating leaks on AC systems, and for identifying antique Uranium or Vaseline Glass. This light is a Dual-Fuel light. It accepts CR123A Batteries or 18650 Li-Ion. You'll probably get a brighter light with the CR123A, but the 18650 is rechargeable and will probably give you a longer run time and is more than sufficient for most applications.A+ for this light.

Needs Special Batteries!
So I knew that this flashlight did not come with batteries. Many flashlights don't. That is not usually a big deal. HOWEVER. This flashlight needs a special type of battery that very few stores actually carry. And if you DO find some, they are more expensive than the light itself. It does work, I use it for curing resin in 3d Printing. It does it's job, no complaint there. But it should be in the title that it takes a special battery or sell the battery with the light. It is somewhere in the fine print of the ad. You know...the part nobody reads.
