Great HD AV pack replacement
I have multiple older systems in my game room and decided to bring my Xbox into the modern era with this adapter. I had previously been using the hd av pack with great results, but switching to this makes the spaghetti of wires a bit more manageable. Quality is pretty great, with a metal housing and thick (seemingly well shielded) cable. There’s not much in terms of noticeable difference from the hd av pack, but since those are getting harder to find this is definitely a viable option. Everything looks as clean and sharp as it should without much/any noise that I could see. As far as I can tell it doesn’t support 5.1 audio, but for me that’s not much of an issue. I tested everything in 720p, but I’m pretty sure my tv simply doesn’t like 1080i, do not an adapter issue (same results with the hd av pack). Overall I give it 5 stars because there’s nothing I can really say negative about it, other than a neutral for the lack of 5.1 audio support (stereo sounds great).Pros-Plug and playGreat qualityDecent priceCondenses current option of wires down to 1Quick shipping (Prime)Cons-No 5.1 audio quality if that’s what you’re looking for

Audio only works on left channel.
This cable was my hopes and dreams all wrapped up. I used to solder in hdmi connections on XBOXs, and before that I hand-made cables. Plugged it in, worked excellent. Setup it up with my receiver, left channel only. Changed cables, same thing, changed inputs same thing. Go back to Monster component cable and it works. Composite cable, works. These things happen, but I am not sure I want to go through the hassle of an exchange when I have the holy grail cable already, a Monster component cable.

pretty meh - could use some improvements
it has the same wavy lines as the Pound cable on most v1.4 consoles.it also has a little ghosting - not as bad as the cheap component cables, but it is there.

Poor graphics
I also purchased their dreamcast cable and that was terrible. I don't know why I thought that the Xbox would be any different. Soft image quality, crushed blacks and wavy lines ALL OVER THE PLACE. Serious buyer beware from this seller.

Works as Expected!
I was skeptical, but this cable works great. Works just as well as the component cable version for high definition, but with HDMI for newer TVs and monitors. This is far more reliable than the component with an active HDMI converter box. Very pleased, highly recommended.

Blurry picture
Hooked up to my old original xbox and the screen has lines and looks super blurry. Tried to plug it in using my own power cord as one is not included and it didn't improve the picture quality at all.

Signal Cuts Every ~45 Seconds, Effectively Useless
It’s a shame, when it does work it really does look crisp. I’ve tried on several TV’s with several HDMI cables and it’s the same result every time. About every 45 seconds, the signal drops for around 3 seconds. Additionally, when the signal is present, there are faint wavy lines that run vertically up the screen. It's mostly visible in dark areas.Unfortunately because of the signal dropping all the time, I can’t use it. Total paperweight. I’ll have to try out other HDMI Xbox cables that hopefully work.

Exactly what I needed.
I have a original xbox. I bought a new tv and it doesn't have a component input. So I had to find a way to hook it up to my new tv, and still get a great picture. That's where this comes in. Easy to install and the picture is better than it was with the component cables. Exactly what I needed.
