We have had our first lesson and Kay Arthur doesn’t disappoint. We all were taking a closer look at scriptures we were all familiar with and enjoyed a deeper biblical conversation.

We are studying this with our Life Group. It is an excellent guide to getting to know the character of God. The scriptures referenced are solid and follow a methodical path to the true character of our God from creation to eedemption.

This is a great study but too much to complete in 40 minute sessions. I am using it in a class I lead and no matter how fast we talk, we can’t complete an entire lesson. Great study though so we just use two meetings to complete each chapter.

This book is an excellent study especially kicking off discussion & moving deeper into the subject matter!

My Bible Study group is using this book for the summer. It has been quite informative. We get into lively discussions every week. We are happy that we tried one of Kay Arthur's studies. It has gotten us to delve deeper into the Bible which is our main goal.

I ordered this to have a focus and something that I could write in the book so as not to have a sepearte book to do notes in, as I am recovring from illness. Yet I wanted a indepth study, this met my needs. I liked doing all symbols above or under or around scriptures and phrases, and I am not doing as a group so it has been fine doing as an individual. I just worked through the questions on my own, and I liked looking over my highlighted words. This focus for me I found helpful, as I didint just want to read through something and answer questions. It made it more interesting to me. I felt doing this allowed me to see things I may not have seen in other studies. It alsohelps as I am not having to mark my bible just this bible study. I find I have enough room to write my answers on the page where the questions are, though there is not loads of space for this, I expect most people like using a seperate notebook. For me I wanted to keep everything in one place.The space for this reason was sufficient, It takes me longer than 40 minutes to do, have being doing one chapter over say two or 3 evenings. It does say in the book it may take more than one session if doing in a group and I feel that is likely. Though not all the questiosn need to be covered I would think in a group, as some cover similar themes to the discussion.I ordered a cheaper second hand book as I wanted to see if I like this style, and I will defintly doing another.
