USB Programming Cable for KPG-4 6 Pin Kenwood Radio TM-271 TK-6110K TK-630 TK-705 TK-705D TK-706

I used this to program one Kenwood TM-281. It worked. When I tried to program another 281, nothing. Blank response on the first attempt to read. Locked up the port for the second attempt. Closed CHIRP and retired. Same thing. Changed computers. Same thing. Changed to another 281. Same thing. I conclude that it simply failed in action. Too bad it's been too long to send back. Guess I'll spring for RT.

Worked for me to program two Kenwood TK-760H radios using the KPG-29D programming software on DOSBOX.Can’t speak to longevity as haven’t had long.

This did not work for me. Not sure if I have a problem with my radio (most likely) or the cable. So I returned it with no issues.
