Still blinking and "alive" a month later! And we don't have to feed it! My son loves it. Personally, I wish it didn't last so long so I didn't have it on my bathroom counter, but it makes him happy.

my boys (6 & 8) have had a great time growing their aliens and have maintained interest in them for weeks after they grew to full size. From my point of view, the fun is in hatching and then growing them and after that they don't do anything - but the kids don't seem to mind.

To start, the images are not like the actual product. The image shows different contrasts of color, bold and nice looking. What it is actually like, is the main color, with real light, almost indistinguishable other colors. Also, the company that made these shut down several years ago, so you cannot go to the website as the package states, which is supposed to have videos that the alien will interact with, using its light. Basically, it will expand and grow in the container, and the light will blink to let you know its "alive", and that's it. You cant really interact or play with it other than that. If you remove it from water for any period of time, it dries out and "dies", shriveling up.Ours have become a decoration piece in my son's room on a shelf. Replace the water every week or so or it will develop mold.

Not near as much fun for my son as the commercials made them out to be. After seeing the alien grow, it just sits on the counter

I love this, it was packed well and exactly as pictured. i would recommend this product to anyone looking for something nice.

This is a cool toy that we purchased in the Toy Outlet at Amazon. The premise is intriguing, but the interactive website is no longer operational. Thus, much of the functionality of the toy is lost. :(

Christmas present for family member. They were thrilled and excited. Others family members wanted some too. So we bought more.

My nephew owed one years ago and he loved it. This one is exactly like it. I'm very pleased with the product and service.
