Minka Aire F518L-BN Concept II LED Brushed Nickel 44" Flush Mount Modern Ceiling Fan with Remote

Fan installed less than one year ago. Fan is nice and quiet but we have had to change out the battery in the remote control three times AND we hardly ever use the remote. I sent customer service a message. The response was "you need a new remote" so basically go buy one where you bought the fan. Not good CS. Should have offered to replace a defective product. Since we use the remote so seldom, we will just keep the battery out of the case and install when we need to use it. This will be my last Minka Aire product of ANY kind!!

I purchased two of these fans and had them installed by an electrician. They are so quiet I barely know they are on. The fan is an excellent match for the two rooms they were installed. This was an excellent purchase and I would highly recommend these. They were recommended to me by my contractor, who obviously knows a good product and confident enough to recommend them.

This fan is great. It's very quiet.It was pretty easy to install. The mounting plate is big and round and flush to the ceiling, so I had trouble lining it up to the holes in the electrical box. I think that's mostly just me though. The strange thing was the ground was attached to the mounting plate, rather than coming out of the motor assembly, so it required some work-around.

We've had this fan for about 3 weeks and so far so good. The install was shockingly easy - took under an hour. The light is much better than I'd expected - bright and not too 'fake white' as many LEDs are. The dimming option is great as well. The fan is fairly quiet and the airflow excellent. Remote is a nice feature for both the light and the fan. A little curious about how long the light will last since it's not a bulb that can be changed - I suspect it will require replacing the fan when it dies.

Light wouldn't stop blinking, fan wont turn on, total lemon.

After spending hours to fix the irregular spinning, we came up to another problem which is that it makes a clicking noise when its on high speed.Pro: Design looks good.Con: Too many problems. It looks like the designer didn't care how the manufacturer built it.
