Sorry I don't know the width, but I take a size 7 wide fitting, and these are really comfortable.

Yes. No extra size needed so usual size required, as plenty foot room. Most comfortable footwear I have ever bought , literally wore them to death and just ordering another pair.

Q: would these be ok in the rain ?

I haven't worn them in the rain but I think they would be fine as long as you weren't going to jump in puddles or wade through deep mud.

Q: Are these boots wide fit?

Yes, they are wide fit - I have arthritis in my feet so need a wide fit.
