I’ve never field dressed a deer but I’m hoping to get one this year. I bought this to keep in my pack to reference. It’s small, spiral bound, and the pages are made of flexible waterproof material so it can be washed off. There are index tabs to easily find the info you need. It gives you step by step instructions with illustrations. I recommend this to anyone that is not experienced and wants to learn.

Beginner or otherwise it's full of info, easy to understand and waterproof. Plus such a handy size to keep in any bag or jacket.

A LOT OF MONEY FOR SO LITTLE, SIZE AND CONTENT. Life got in the way and it's been decades since my last real hunt for big game, so I decided to buy this guide to refresh my memory in case I had forgotten anything so as not to embarrass myself. It should be $9.98, not 13.98. A bit more basic than I'd hoped and again, overpriced for what it is, but I digress. I had forgotten a couple cuts and would've embarrassed myself. Nothing that would've ruined the animal or meat, but would've missed a couple key meat cuts. It's still small and overpriced but where else you gonna find this info in a pocket version with laminated pages front to back that won't fall apart in your hands or if it's wet/raining out. I suppose I could've researched and found what I needed for free, but having it in a pocket reference laminated to survive the wilds and dirty hands is a plus. If you hunt annually or more often, you likely don't need this reference guide. But if like me, it's been a lot of years or your new to hunting, it's a good guide for reminding you of basic practices and cuts. Enjoy!

Awesome book! This is my first time hunting this coming spring for 2021, and for someone who has never field dressed a big game animal, this book offers step by step instructions to include what tools you will need and game bags. Very detailed in step by step process and showing very clear pictures of where to cut, and what to be careful of! Very small, hard waterproof pages, well put together, worth every dollar. Great gift for the new hunter or someone who may need to bring it with them as a reminder! I would buy it again! It’s worth it!

This mini field dressing manual is very compact and I like the fact that the pages are laminated or seems to be some sort of hard plastic used for pages. Regardless, this would be good to have in your pack when you’re out hunting for deer. Good little pocket book to go back and reference.
