Pros: We love the Olivia books, especially the original Ian Falconer books. Cons: These are not hardcover - they are soft cover and though more economical than purchasing the hardcover versions, they are not as durable especially if your child tears out pages. More importantly, although my kid likes these books as well as the original IF books, they are not nearly as well written as the originals. The themes are still cute and relatable for kids, but the Olivia featured in these softbound books is just not as mischievous, witty, or adorable as written by IF. Its based on the Olivia video/tv series instead.

False advertising. Sold as a 6 book set and received one book for $33. Rip off!!!

My daugther wanted for christmas got them opened. They are as they should

7 year old loves this as learn to read practice every night before bedThis series is not written by Ian Falconer the author illustrator of the original Olivia book series.Rather, it looks like it takes episodes from the Olivia tv show and makes them into easy readers.No matter, 7 year old who was a reluctant reader, loves reading this series every night at bedtime.

I bought this set for my 3yo. The stories are perfect length, great for little girls and boys, and come in a durable cardboard case. Perfect gift for that little person you know and love!

Bought this set for my 3 year old grandson. He already had one of the Olivia books & just loved it! He loves each one of the adventures of Olivia books in this set.

We didn't actually read these so I'm assuming they are up to the normal Olivia quality of book. I got these to go in party favor bags for my daughter's "library" themed birthday party. They were perfect and a good price so that I could afford a book for every child.

Ordered these for my grandaughter - they have all been read and she really enjoyed them. Will be rereading.

Lightweight paperbacks. Wonderful stories.

I got these books for my friends 2 year old daughter's birthday.I know they are technically learn-to-read books, however, the little girl LOVES pigs and I figured until it is time for her to learn how to read, she can have the books read to her.The set offers a lot of value for the price and was an instant hit. The visual component of these books was perfect to keep her engaged as well.Overall i'm very impressed.
