Great deep winter boot, just buy them!
I'm a backpacker, I wear a size E width shoe, I generally have warm feet, and I hate ankle support. Up to the purchase of these I was wearing "low" top goretex trail runner boots from Vasque. They're fine, not so warm, and with my wide feet a little tight in the width even when I sized up.So I've been looking for new winter backpacking shoes, that will work with my snowshoes and my microspikes, will keep my feet warm in those sub-0F days when I'm just standing around. I came across the older model of these in my online search, where many people had issues with the sizing and the upper velcro strap. I tried a pair on and found these complaints to be valid. then I saw Teva had released this newer version and was able to try on a pair at LL Bean. I was sold, but they were half the price on Amazon, so I purchased here.I do think I ordered slightly larger size than I need, but they seem to move with my foot fine, and I like the extra space my feet experience, especially since I expect foot swell on longer hikes. The toe box space is lovely and spacious. With the size I picked they are as easy to put on as I'd expect from a shoe designed like this. If I am wearing the removable inner they are even easier to put on.The upper is very soft and pliable, so they provide essentially no ankle support, which is *exactly* what I wanted. I like that the inner is removable, as I can take them out when I am going to slip into my sleeping bag and they act as warm socks, which I can then, in the morning, put back into the shoe, nice and easy, without having cold feet or having to deal with frozen shoes.I also like flat soles, and wear minimal heel-toe drop shoes as my daily shoes, and for warm weather hiking. I don't know what the drop is on these, but they are very short drop, and a generally flat sole with no weird arch curves or side curves. They're amazingly comfortable to wear. The bottoms have a decently aggressive tread that should be great for wearing around town in snowy conditions. As for their warmth, I spent this morning at the dog park at ~8F, standing in the snow, talking with another dog owner, and my feet were nice and warm the whole time.If you are on the fence, just buy them, probably 1/2-1 size greater than your normal shoe size. At the price Amazon sells these for, they are a steal.

Fantastic for outdoors. Squeaky for indoors
These are great for winter and walking about in the snow. Comfortable, warm. Everything.... EXCEPT the squeak. My god, the squeak. I wore them to the office a couple times and resorted to tip toeing to reduce the squeak. But everyone turned and looked at me and started laughing anyway (the one time I tried that in a quiet room). I'm keeping them because they meet my needs for when I walk my dog and go outside in rough weather. But they're just not tenable for indoor environments, unfortunately. That's a shame, because the comfort level is really high.... indoors and out.I'm rating them a 3 star because I can't reasonably return these after thoroughly testing them in the office and outdoors. Had I known the squeakiness would be this big of a deal, I probably would have laid out a little more money for some boots from DSW, where I can vet them more thoroughly indoors.

So far so good.
I originally had bought the 9.5 thinking it would fit small, but it was way way too big. I then exchanged for a pair of 9 and they fit very snug. Don't get me wrong, they fit, it's not too long or push against my toe or anything like that, but you can feel that the shoe hug your feet quite tightly as other reviewers have noted. If you put on the lining before putting on the shoe, it'll feel much better, at least that was my experience.I got the blue color which is a rare color you won't see often on shoes and they look good.Unfortunately, it's getting warm out, so it'll be a number of months before I get to enjoy them, from the few minutes - half hour that I worn it around the house, they feel bottom heavy as the black part is the only part that has any weight on it, the top part is like nothing. Overall, the shoes are quite light for winter boots, I'll have to wear them for longer periods, walking longer distance to really see if I like them, but so far so good.

Great PAC boots for a narrower foot.
I'm a 10.5 (New Balance shoes EEEE 10.5 area perfect fit for me) and ordered a 11.5 of this boot, based on other reviews. Goo fit in the length, but tight around the ball of the foot. I walked around the house in them for almost an hour, and finally decided that they just wouldn't work.Anyone find a pair of PAC winter boots that would fit my size? They look very well made. Tough, waterproof, and warm. I struggled a bit with the PAC liner bootie but I think living with it for a little while would make it simple to use. Too bad the last is so narrow; I had high hopes for them. I really need something like this to survive Chicago winters!

Great boot! Not 100% waterproof
I really like these boots, but they aren't perfectly waterproof. I have a hard time finding anything that is waterproof. Technically, my foot length is a size 9.5, but I have very wide feet so I am accustom to buying 10 or 10.5. I purchased a 10.5 and they fit perfectly. I am going to look for a paint on waterproofer for the seams. They are light like a running shoe. It's hard to explain because there's not much out there to compare them to. They are perfect for running around town or camp. I wouldn't sit out subzero temps with these (i.e ice fishing, hunting), but definitely are made for being active (sledding, snowman) in subzero temps. The liners do make a good slipper too. They also can be squished down for packing when traveling. Haven't really needed that feature yet, but it's nice to have.

Function meets Fashion
Awesome boot! I got these for a steal of a price on amazon compared to what they would normally sell for. They do run slightly small. In dress shoes I wear a 7.5 and in running shoes a size 8. I ordered these in size 8 and they are slightly snug. If they had an 8.5 I would have opted for those, but as they are I will just have to make sure I wear super thin socks. No worries though, they are well made and very comfortable. I also feel like they did a good job of making these winter boots be functional without looking completely ridiculous. I can wear these with my black straight leg or skinny jeans to the salon and not look out of place. In fact I think they are pretty cool!

LOVE THEM
Read other reviews about the size, and ordered up. Otherwise, these are the best winter boots I have ever had.

It was easy enough to return however
These were way too small and much heavier than I expected. It was easy enough to return however, so just make sure you know they're heavy and buy a size up.

Design flaw with the hill of the boot causing blisters.
I brought these boots for my sister. She wears size 13 in mens. The back of the hill you can fill a hard piece of plastic though the boot liner and this causes blisters on my...

Nice boots. Durable, waterproof, light and comfy....
Nice boots. Durable, waterproof, light and comfy. The only negative thing I can say about them is that you can not wear them in - 40C (as it was mentioned in description) .

Warm and light
My husband usually wear 10 or 10.5. This time, I bought him 11. The width of these shoes are enough for him. But his foot is thick, there is no more space.
