After having recently cleaned tile floors with a floor doctor, they were in pretty good shape. But a drooly dog and inevitable spills made some new messes. This took care of all of that.This mop is really effective in the kitchen and bathrooms, and it is quick to heat up and use. Went through the whole house in very little time, and the 4 provided pads all got some use. It cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes without any strong chemicals. It's very slow at cleaning grout, but good for floor maintenance. The floors get really clean with no residue. It's also quick to dry the floors, quicker than a floor doctor. But obviously there is an extra vacuuming step beforehand. For big areas it takes more time than a larger cleaner might, but it gets into corners and gaps that other cleaners can't.Some of the floor smells end up in the pads, and they get pretty saturated with water and dirt. The pads say hand wash only but the instructions say machine wash. I can't imagine hand washing these pads, they get pretty nasty and a washer does a good job at cleaning them. I washed them like a microfiber (cold water wash and low temperature dry), and they smelled better than new (got rid of that original shipping odor). They are not really a microfiber but more of a twisted fiber weave with a poly foam backing.

Love this, it's easy to use and does a good job. Gets the floors cleaner than a Swiffer for sure.

I previously wrote a bad review and I was going to return this because the body of the mop would not stay attached and it kept pulling apart . I thought it was a manufacturer’s flaw but I began to analyze and compare the picture on the box. The problem is with the assembly instruction not the mop so I wanted to write another reviewer to correct this and hopefully explain to others who might have the same problem getting it to latch on to the base. Basically what I discovered is that the black brush attachment for scrubbing must be put on even if not using the attachment to scrub in order for the black rubber tip to grab onto the base once its inserted and you should hear a slight click once this is done then the mop works perfectly. The instructions should explain that the brush accessory is more than a optional part and without it being in place it’s impossible to latch on properly. I has seen other reviews similar to my first where customers were having the same problem so I hope this will clarify how to prevent the pieces from pulling apart and how to solve this problem. This I hope will prevent returns also if the product but I suggest that a new instruction booklet be made explaining about the scrubbing brush and that it must be on even if not using the scrubbing option.

Worked good for a short time. Less than 2 months after purchasing it, it stopped producing steam. Was able return product but was charged a $25 dollar restocking fee, seriously for a broken product. Totally not acceptable.

I bought this steam mop because it seemed like my floors were never clean enough. We also moved into a large apartment that is mostly plank flooring and there was discoloration and paint splotches from prior residents. Well, low and behold when we started steaming and scrubbing these floors (with the tile attachment) our textured looking floors were actually caked with dirt, and that discoloration was actually the few spots that were clean. The right hand of the photo is the dirty floor, and the clean floor is on the left. We are shocked, discussed, and sickly satisfied cleaning these floors.

So I got one and I love the way it goes in to the corners and really cleans the floor

I can't decide if I don't know how to use it or if It doesn't work well. I've always wanted a steam mop, but this is not what I imagined it would be like. I read the manual and while I think it works okay, I have a lot of tiled floor and it takes forever to steam. Next time I will get one with more coverage.

I haven't owned the steam mop for very long but I've now used it 5 times. Mop does as stated and floors dry quickly. Most steam mops or steam canisters will drop and a little bit of water on the floor but this model keeps it to a minimum. Easy to hold and push back and forth. I only use distilled water so the filter doesn't really matter to me. It's very difficult to find a decent steam mop anymore. I had to buy this and get rid of my Karcher SC3 as it was leaking everywhere.

Absolute rubbish, came with wrong plug to use in Australia, worked once then never worked again. Ended up returning for full refund

Purchased as "Used - acceptable" at a great price and after a month of use still haven't found the "large cosmetic imperfection". It's used on vinyl flooring and I make a point of not overusing it at the seam. It starts making steam almost instantly and does a fine cleaning job as evidenced by the appearance of the pad. It's easy to convert to the brush for scrubbing then back to the pad; all done without bending over..

I was very happy at the beginning with this product since worked perfectly as described, I live in a very small apartment, so I don’t need to use it for long hours when mopping the floors. I probably used it for only 10 times and the water tank broke, I tried to use it but some how the water was not going through the steamer to produce steam at the bottom.There was no way how to get this machine work again.DEFINITELY I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

Great product from reliable, love their steam cleaners. This is my second purchase first is another of their lone but not a steam mop.
