ADH Publishing ADH032 How to Build Revell's 1:32 Messerchmitt Bf 109G-6

This book is chocked full of great ideas! I really like the explanation of the errors that Revell made in the manufacturing of the scale model and the various options given to correct them. I also like the corrections made to the Revell instructions. The lists in each chapter of add-on products, paints and references make it easy to track down those products that one may wish to add to your build. Because of this book I plan to add a lot of scratch built items to the office and make some corrections to the exterior of the aircraft. Thanks Brett for putting together this reference!

By the title, one might think that 'How to Build Revell's 1:32 Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6' is a publication of rather narrow scope. If you have any interest in Luftwaffe aircraft, it's actually a handy little reference that combines an interesting analysis of two representative surviving Bf 109Gs, high-quality multi-view scale drawings by respected modeler Radu Brinzan, some interesting modeling articles salted with discussions of Luftwaffe colors, Bf 109G production, and some very useful modeling tips. If you're building any model of a Bf 109G, the book is well worth the price despite its focus on one particular model kit.
