Really liked this vacuum cleaner the first week, however, the detachable hand held part repeatedly falls out of the main body, and today it smashed. So had about 1 weeks use out of it. The handheld part isn't secure when you click it in. Also makes a weird rattling sounds, there is something loose inside it.

I have used this for a month now, and have been impressed so far:PROS:- Decent power for general cleaning, and especially for vacuuming hard to reach places and in my car. It seems more powerful than the "wand" on our modern upright vaccum, and is an awful lot easier to move around and use than that.- The battery does last a good while, even on full power. I was able to vacuum our whole family MPV, including the footwells, under the car mats, on the seats, the child car seats, under every seat and in the boot, before it started to run out of juice.- It is attractively styled and gets admiring glances from visitors.- The upright function is actually quite good! I only really bought this vacuum for use on the stairs etc in the smaller hand mode, but the traditional upright mode is reasonably good.- It's easy to clean. The dust filter is accessible in seconds, and very easy to clean and empty into the bin. The roller on the bottom of the main upright section easily slides out so you can remove long hairs from it. (Far easier than on our heavier duty traditional vacuum).- It's very light and simple to move about and even to carry up and down stairs.- The battery indicator gives a good idea of how much power is left, and it only takes up to 4.5 hours to fully charge. (Less than that if not fully depleted, of course).- Get's in very close to the wall when used in upright mode. Closer than most traditional upright vacuums I've used.CONS:- It's not as powerful as a traditional upright vacuum for cleaning our main carpets. It's not really fair to compare it with a mains-powered vacuum, of course, but this point still needs to be made. We won't be getting rid of our main Vax vacuum for this reason, but use this product for general low-level, everyday cleaning, and cleaning in awkward spaces and on the stairs.- It is quite expensive at full price. Both myself and my father-in-law have bought it at £79.99 on a deal at different times, though, which makes it much more reasonably priced.- The instructions could be much better. There is no troubleshooting guide etc. in them, and the standard of English isn't brilliant.I can recommend this item if you can get it at the right price. If you have a small flat, and few pets, then perhaps this would do as your main vacuum.Hope you found my review helpful!

Does what it’s designed for but sometimes could do with being a little heavier for some carpets. Not bad value for money but the battery life could be longer however it does charge up quicker than most.

The hand held is perfect, never wants to give up, we've had it for neatly a year and the brush motor on the upright has given up, so using it as a car vac, but have to keep the upright as it's the only way to charge the hand held

Was great for first 3 uses, then one morning, while it was charging, there was a bang, plug socket broken and Hoover no longer working

Easy to assemble just 1 screw. Charged up and was satisfied with the hand held section. Clicked it in to do the floor and there was no suction at all. Couldn't find anything actually wrong so I contacted the seller and this is his reply 'Good morningThe vacuum cleaner is completely out of work or stuck'. Chose this vacuum because at the time there were 15 5 star reviews, assume they weren't supplied with a 'completely out of work' one.

I was influenced by two things about this product, the positive reviews and the price. In the past we have bought both very expensive and cheaper vacuum cleaners and tbh they all did a good job but there was no denying the far superior build quality of the likes of Miele etc.This is our first rechargeable one and it is a delight to use and on the surface is surprisingly effective BUT there is a caveat:-Although it undoubtedly collects dirt etc from the carpet and hard floors, we are not sure how deep it cleans into the carpet pile.So, we are very pleased with this product, the build quality and ease of use are excellent and we will use it most times, but we won't part with our bigger more powerful upright for when we want to clean a bit more thoroughlyUPDATE :-(We are now after only 4 months of only casual use we are sadly having quality issuesThe handle on the hand-held part has cracked an because of this the charging connection to the main part of the cleaner doesn't connect properly. It is now only a matter of time before the whole cleaner become useless BE WARNED

I ordered this item on the 8th of June with it initially functioning fine in every way.However, from then on the performance of this cordless vacuum cleaner gradually subsequently deteriorated with its battery though fully charged not always giving full power, followed on by its hand held middle section falling off not staying in its locked position in the middle of the vacuum cleaner, thereby rendering this item useless & only fit for the bin.Though all isn't lost, as I've just ordered another cheaper (cost-wise) cordless stick vacuum cleaner from Amazon.So, I therefore can' recommend buying this particular vacuum cleaner.
