Wrist Phone
I have no other gizmo to compare this item to. I have a watch (suunto traverse-which is a gps and also pushes incoming info like email and diary items) and I have a smart phone (iPhone SE-that does pretty much everything well) Both do their jobs extremely well. However this is a very inexpensive working phone on your wrist, and that is what I purchased it for.I find it incredible that for seventeen quid I can walk around with a back up working phone - that concept just blows me away.I initially charged it up, but it seemed to be fully charged. So I put in a SIM card and 2gb card, and the battery and pressed the push button for about 5 seconds and it fired up. The instructions are in tiny writing, and it’s best just to find your way round intuitively. It found my iPhone straight away but as I already had a SIM card installed I don’t really need it communicating with my mobile, but should I want to, it will play anything from my iPhone.I’ve tried ringing contacts from it, and had people ring me, and it works fine, if not slightly tinny, but certainly acceptable.I used the alarm, and the pedometer, and the sleep quality, the calendar, and the calculator, and the voice recorder works exceptionally well. The battery life seems to be 24-36hours and I would recommend plugging it in for two hours sometime in the evening.I have not been able to get online and surf, I don’t use facepuke or twatter but have tried out the sedentary alarm and although very basic - the camera works. Oh I almost forgot, it seems reasonably accurate as a timepeace too.The outer case and strap seem very sedate and not cheap looking, but the screen isn’t HD and looks a bit tacky, but does feel comfortable on, although trying to put it on does need some imagination and dexterity! For me it seems worth the paltry sum for the on-hand technology and time will tell how long it will last.Update : Having used it all week I have to confess that I have had my money's worth twice over. However I bought it to use as a back up novelty phone and I can certainly hear anyone talking who rings me, but they can barely hear me, which is a shame. I located the tiny hole that is the microphone and volume control, but that's not helped.I'm not changing my rating as it is still very good value !

Great value!
I ordered this on my 9 year old daughters behalf and I have an apple watch myself. This is surprisingly fast and does what it's supposed to do. Personally I wouldn't wear it because it's too thick and a bit bulky but for a child it's brilliant. It's not rediculous or anything. A few things I've noticed are the time doesn't show when you lift it up like other smart watches, you have to press the button on the side, maybe this is adjustable in setting I honestly don't know. The strap is modelled on an iPhone strap but is harder to close. But I will say for the price it's actually very good. I'd recommend it, especially for a gift for someone younger who wants a smartwatch like mam or dad.

Terrible product
I really do not know how this item has so many positive reviews. Mine arrived yesterday and the box looked like it had already been opened as the watch was rattling about rather than being held in place. I then notices that the strap was round the wrong way and could not be fastened easily (unless you are double jointed). To top it all off, when I plugged it in to charge it would not take any charge at all.I contacted Amazon and was offered a refund (no offer of exchange for some reason) and after a bit of humming and hawing I was told to dispose of the watch and they would issue the refund to me.I decided to persevere and it seemed like the charging cable provided was useless as my own cable charged the watch no problem. The functionality of the actual watch is very limited unless you use a SIM card in it, and the Bluetooth disconnect all the time. Also, after charging for almost 8 hours the watch lasted a whole 4 hours or very little use.If possible I would not have given this product any stars, but felt I better write this warning to any potential buyers.

Ideal for answering your phone.
The watch connects to your phone via bluetooth which was relatively straightforward. The camera is a waste of time and you can only use the internet via a sim card. Its a basic cheap smart watch and if all you really need to do is answer the phone then this works well. The battery life is poor,i only use it occasionly and it needs recharging every night.

Will answer your phone called for you.
It answered my phone calls for me. It did not video record or playback the vital info i needed. Told me i needed an SD card when one was installed already. My sim card was far too small to use.

OK but difficult to setup
Hard to setup as the links given for the apps dont work for all requirmemts. I had to search for a compatible app. Once I got it working its a OK. Typing is hard but for price not bad

I expected a little more
Short battery life, but for this price you cannot expect more. Sound is not very clear when answering a call and its not loud enough. Camera could be better. Without sim card in it there's not much you can do with it

My Mum thinks hers is ACE!
Gave this to my Mum for Xmas. She says she's thoroughly enjoying her new gadget, and is v v pleased with it.No, she hasn't been told the price, because I think she thinks it's a lot more than it is. An extremely good basic entry-level Smartwatch!Yes, it's small and fiddly: it's a 1.5inch screen, so you'll just have to live with those tiny buttons! To open a menu (etc) you must TOUCH THE ITEM TO SELECT IT, AND AGAIN TO OPEN IT. A single touch will not suffice.BTW, there's a grumpy customer review right at the head of this thread. I don't think that person actually charged the watch up before trying to make it work. YOU MUST DO SO. It takes 90 min or so, and then it's all systems go.Buy it and try it: you don't stand to lose much, even if it's really not "you".
