Great product with a wide range of used
I recently purchased the 1/2 cup and 1 cup Souper Cubes and wanted to share my feedback. The 1 cup size is perfect for individual soup meal prep, homemade sauces, and broths. The 1/2 cup size is also great for freezing general leftovers and single-serving meal components like rice and pulled beef. However, my absolute favorite use for the 1/2 cup size is making large ice cubes for my water bottle. When filled to the 1/2 cup line, the ice fits perfectly into my narrow-mouth water bottle without hindering the straw. It melts slowly, keeping my water ice cold and allowing me to refill it throughout the day. Overall, these containers are very easy to use, and I appreciate that they are dishwasher-friendly. They do not retain any lingering food smells after being washed, so I never have to worry about flavors transferring to the next batch. Thank you for making such a great product!

My favorite kitchen accessory!
I'm going to be honest: I don't spend a ton of time in the kitchen, I don't really like to cook all that much, I'm not big on leftovers, and I rarely rave about any kitchen gadgets, but I positively LOVE these SouperCubes and have bought multiple sizes of them and given them as gifts, as well. I have a couple of comfort soup recipes I love but are a pain to make, so when I do make them, I make double or triple batches. The problem in the past has been freezing them in large plastic containers--they take up way too much room in the freezer, and once frozen, it's super difficult to carve out a single serving, since the rest of my family isn't in love with those recipes. Even if they were, we'd still have to basically thaw the entire frozen thing and then eat the leftovers in a couple of days or it would all go to waste. These SouperCubes solve that dilemma! I can't overstate how much I love them, truly. I freeze the soup (or whatever I've made) in whichever size I need/want (and I've started making homemade pet food, too, so I can freeze portions of chicken or beef broth in the right sizes easily for making up pet meals, etc.), then once they're frozen, I pop them out of the cubes, wrap them individually in wax paper, and store them back in the freezer in freezer bags with the dates/contents written on the outside. It frees up space in the freezer and frees up the SouperCubes for more batches of other things. It's organized and so easy to pull out a single (or however many I need) serving to pop in a soup pot and heat back up in minutes for a homemade (and relatively healthy) meal. It's also helping me stay on top of making pet meals, which can be... a long process. They'd be great for making batches of homemade baby food, too, or portions of casseroles, or whatever your heart desires. They have a variety of sizes for whatever you need. I will admit these cubes are on the pricey side, so I try to wait for them to go on sale, but honestly they're worth the regular price. If I have one (minor) complaint about them, it can be a little difficult to get the food back out of the containers once it's frozen. It's very smooth, but it takes some hand strength, and my hands aren't the greatest. It helps to let the cubes warm up just slightly (not enough for anything to thaw) or to have a stronger person handy, but if you're the strongest one in your household and have difficulty, go slow, do let them warm up just slightly, and try going from one side to the other lengthwise rather than pressing in the middle and trying to pop the whole thing out at once. You can pretty much turn the whole slot inside out and it will pop back into shape and place by pressing it back in the right way, no problem. I don't know if that will create weaknesses/tears in the silicon over time, but so far I haven't had any problems with that. If you like to cook in large batches, meal prep, have a baby or pets you're making homemade food for, or anything of that nature, you need these. They'd also be great for making up batches of juice or your favorite frozen (alcoholic or not) cocktails ahead of time (for all you partiers out there--you know who you are.) Freeze and store them in the 1 cup sizes, drop one per guest into each glass to thaw a bit before they arrive, and enjoy--safely and responsibly, of course. Just be aware that with alcohol added they might stay sort of slushy, so you might need to store them in the cubes in that case and just scoop them out as needed. That's also an option for anything else if you don't need the cubes for other things right away and don't want to deal with the freezer bags, since they come with snap-on lids.

Very useful!!
I bought these because I originally got a bunch of round borosilicate food containers for regular use in the fridge, but could go in the freezer, too. But then, I got to not liking them because they slide around against each other and don't store efficiently due to their round shape. I don't relish the thought of one of them flying out of the freezer as I re-arrange them to add frozen veggies, etc., into the freezer. But voila, enter these souper cubes! They're much easier to squeeze into the top, unused portion of my freezer, without sledding down the tilted pizza box, and are still worth using even if only one of the sections is being used, because that only makes the remaining sections more flexible. I got the gray, but I wish a lighter gray or taupe was offered, because the dark gray is a little gothic and the darkness makes it more difficult to see the details of the food. These are also overpriced, but are really great quality nonetheless, nice and thick to make them strong, but not overly thick. I'll use these for regular things, and for carmelized onions, but, next, I'm going to get the four ounce size, to use for freezing compound butters (yay!) and also sauces and gravies --the four ounce size is just right for that, for myself. What a great thing these souper cubes really are, and if you can afford them or wait till they go on sale, I highly recommend them!!!

Totally Worth It!
I am a soup lover and these are perfect for freezing extras. I love how perfectly they freeze, pop out and cooked. I made fresh dog food and the one cup portioned is perfect. One batch of healthy food makes 8 servings. Once these free, I will pop them out and store in a zip lock bag in the fridge. Like them so much I have multiple sizes.

Quality product, functional freezing
These are indeed pricy, but if you use them right, you probably won’t need any more. You can freeze whatever leftovers you want in them, but they are especially good for soups, stews, mashed potatoes, and other foods with more liquid. Foods such as those are less than ideal for putting directly into a freezer bag. But with the Souper Cubes, you just fill them, freeze them, and then, once the food is frozen, you remove it (It will release easily in its block form) and put it in a freezer bag. That, in turn, frees up your Souper Cube container for the next meal you need to freeze. I debated which size of these to get, considering the price, but opted for this 4-section, 1-cup-in-each-section version. You get two trays. I find them very versatile because if you need more, you can just fill in as many sections as you need. As with a lot of products, it’s worth noting that storing tomato-based items like spaghetti can leave an orange stain on the silicone. I can tell you from experience that it took me a while to get it 98% of the stain off with baking soda and vinegar. If it does get stained, it won’t affect the ability of its storage or anything; it’s just a visual thing to be aware of if you are bothered by that. I have also been using them a lot for banana bread. Sometimes I’m left with a few overripe bananas, but I either don’t feel like making banana bread that minute, or I don’t have quite enough for my recipe, so I mash them and put them in a compartment for later. Or, you don’t even have to mash them. Sometimes I just break the banana in two and toss it in there. In the video, you can see the mashed block I easily released from one of the compartments, and there is a whole banana broken in half in the one next to it. All in all, it’s a quality product. I like them and have been using them routinely.

Pops out for easy meal prep
I received this as a gift. I liked it so much that bought it as a gift for my daughter. I use it when I make large batches to freeze. The only reason I give it a 4 star instead of 5 is the ice crystals that form on the top of the food. That doesn't happen with other freezer containers. However, I really love how it pops right out of the silicone part. I can the move it to my silicone freezer bags combined with other self-prepared frozen foods to meal plan. I never heat up the foods in the containers I freeze in. This way I can plop them right out into a pan or an oven depending on what food I froze. I don't need to defrost just pop it out frozen.

Very useful!
My sister loves these and recommended them. I love that they're so easy to use, safe for food and easy to clean. The silicone feels very sturdy and the food pops out easily when I want to reheat it. I've been using it for oatmeal, stews, and pastas and so far so good!

Awesome product!
These are great! I live on my own, but yet I don’t know how to Cook for one! So I always make too much and these cubes are great for freezing and then popping out and storing in a bag that can stand up in the freezer and takes up very little space. I highly recommend. These cubes are more expensive than the others, but I think spending the money for these. You will see that they are gonna hold up for a long, long time.

Great for meal prepping
Great product that has really helped me out with meal prepping. I find this size to be perfect for single servings of soup and means I can make a batch of 8 servings at a time for freezing. Once the soup is frozen solid I can pop the cubes out (which is really easy thanks to the silicon) and store in a freezer bag so that the trays can be used again. This is also useful as the trays take up quite a bit of space in the freezer.

Very useful freezer mold!
Perfect for freezing soups and stews in 1/2 cup or 1 cup serving sizes. Easy to remove soup cubes once frozen. Washes up easily. Definitely recommend this product for any batch cooking.

Ingenius
I've been looking for containers for meal prepping and this is definitely ingenius. I've started meal prepping since I got sick to prepare meals in advance in preparation for treatment. This has been a time saver and an organized way of storing food. Highly recommended. I'll buy the other sizes.

Fantastic purchase.
These Souper cubes are brilliant. I've tried several other makes, which were difficult to hold when they were full of food, especially if it was a bit runny. These have a reinforced rim aound the top, which keeps the tray rigid when you pick it up. The markings inside are clear and after the food is frozen, it pops out so easily. Also, you get a really tight fitting lid with a flap to make it easy to lift off. They are very easy to clean. Full marks for these, I've alrealy ordered more in the different sizes. More expensive than some other brands but worth every penny. Cherry McSharry

Darf zuhause nicht fehlen!
Warum gekauft? Klare Kaufempfehlung!
