Ikea SYLT HJORTRON Cloudberry Jam, 425g

This cloudberry jam is a real treat - it takes me right back to Finland and reminds me too of the fabulous, bitter-sweet liqueur made from the same berries. This jam should be tried on top quality vanilla ice-cream with a cinnamon wafer...magic.

Unusual jam, tastes ok but contains a large amount of pips. I think it is normal, they are not unpleasant , they burst under the teeth and are quite soft. I was curious about the cloudberries. I don't think I would go out of my way to buy another jar now but happy to have tried it.

It is a jam like others, and a matter of taste.It goes well on my morning sandwich…And reminds me of when I picked them fresh, when I lived in northern Norway.Although it of course is not the same..It is still a treat!

I first tried cloudberry jam on a trip to Sweden to visit where my great-grandmother was born. I really liked it and was pleased to be able to find a source for it here.
