No wheel spares
Have a Vax Blade 2 and one of the wheels broke off. Contacted Vax for replacement and was told you will have to buy a whole replacement floor head as we don't supply just the plastic wheels as spare parts!! Obviously more profitable to them than replacing a plastic wheel! Never buy Vax again.

Excellent
Got mine today after having a dyson for years. Absolutely brilliant. Really powerful was quite a shock on the carpets how good the suction was. Got hard floors as well and worked great on both. So easy to flip it off for stairs and the car. Excellent buy

They won't honour warranty
To anyone thinking of buying a Vax like we did 18 months ago- please read this. For the last 6 months our Vax Blade 2 has been randomly turning itself off and not working. We regularly empty and clean the hoover, but the fault has worsened.Today we tried to repair/replace under the 3 year warrantee. At first they suggested it was our fault for not looking after it, then they advised regularly buying new filters, parts etc. They then suggested they could repair it BUT, if at their discretion it was a maintenance issue, we would be charged £40.They also would not advise how long it would take and didn't seem to know or care what we were supposed to do in the meantime without a hoover.I will personally never buy from Vax again. The product was poor and the customer service the worst I've ever experienced. Also to 'Chloe' who dealt with the (lack of) customer service - repeating the same thing over and over and not listening to the customer or their questions or concerns is not 'doing all you can'

No good on hardfloors and 2 replacement heads needed within 18 months!
I have had this product for over a year and I have to say it has been a disappointment. Suction is good and it is pretty easy to manoeuvre, but if you use on hardfloors it tends to push dirt around rather than suck it up unless it is something small like dust! The head is a small area (not really a problem) but quite high so it doesn't fit under our sofa and doesn't allow you to get right at corners - this is especially annoying on the stairs (there is a good pack that comes with it so you can use one of the other heads for this but it is a bit if a faff to keep changing heads). And then there is the problem of the head on carpets. I don't have particularly thick carpets and I take the brush head out around once a week/ every other hoovering session to cut off any hair etc, and yet i have had 2 heads break on me. The first they replaced, no problem just after 12 months. The 2nd lasted 4 weeks and, despite having a 3 year warrenty on the machine, I have to pay to replace head because apparently the warrenty only covers mechanical failure with the main body of the vacuum - make sure you read the very small print on the webesite, the information on the 'warranty guidelines' you are encouraged to read says nothing about this. Finally, removing the dirt from the hoover is very messy, you always need to get your fingers right inside to pull out fluff (which tends to clog around the entrance to the chamber so even if it isn't full it will stop sucking dirt up). You also need to he weary where you switch it off because if you have managed to suck up anything larger than dust or fluff, it will often dump it out again once you switch off the suction (leaving you a nice little pile of dirt you need to sweep up with a pan).So in summary, it is so much easier to use than a corded hoover and I found battery life to be enough to whizz around the top floor of a 4 bed house...but I don't bother using it on hard floors and I can see myself replacing the head every few months unless i take out the brush bar and remove EVERY hair from it after each and every use.

Get one. It’s amazing.
I have never before felt the urge to write a review about a household gadget, but this vac is absolutely amazing. I have pale grey and cream carpets throughout my house and i thought they were ready for replacing even though only 3 years old. Wet cleaning them didn’t particularly make a massive difference. But our old vac (vax but 11 years old and not well maintained to be honest) was clearly no longer functioning well so I bought the blade 2. I could not believe the amount of dust and powdery dirt (ewwww!) that came out of my carpets. I love using it, and get a weird joy out of cleaning it each time and see the dirt that has been picked up. My carpets look like new again and definitely have no need whatsoever to be replaced. It’s so easy to use and store. It is light weight and the suction, especially on the stronger setting is incredibly strong. I cant recommend it highly enough. The only thing I don’t know is how well or long it will last as I’ve only had it about 6 weeks. But I’ve already told people that even if it packed up tomorrow (and I’ve no reason whatsoever to believe that it would) i consider myself to have had my money’s worth over and over.Love it.

Awful
Absolutely awful, it clogs up around one area inside the suction chamber, once you turned it off half the contents of what you just vacuumed up fall back out :-(I have to literally leave it turned on until I get to the bin to empty it.Would I buy this again ?No I definitely wouldn’t.

Alright but could be better
Its better than some of the other wireless vacuums I’ve used. Works best on carpet, especially with the turbo and rotating brush settings. I have found it abit of a nuisance on hard floors as it doesnt seem to pick up crumbs and fluff very well without using the turbo. Adding to that, the battery doesn't last very long either. Over all okay but I do wish I spent a little bit more and went for a dyson.
