Best replacement for Bose QC20! Love these earbuds!
I love these noise canceling earbuds and I believe they are the best replacement for Bose qc20 for a few reasons.1. The Microphonic is very small. There is ample contact are between the ear and the earbuds to cancel microphonic.2. The noise canceling is not the best in the market but that actually feels better. The headphone with very strong noise canceling gives me a suffocating feeling if you know what I mean.3. It uses AAA battery. Most noise canceling headphones would stop ANC while charging and I forget to charge all the time. Love to just swap out the batteries.4. I think the sounds is very nice. It does not have too much bass and the sound is very balanced.5. Mic microphone works well on my laptop.6. There is a monitor mode that allow you listen to surrounding.I hope they can last for a long time and will update this review later.

Noise Cancelling
It was pretty decent, sometimes the noise cancelling sounds fuzzy, but maybe my batteries are going bad, who knows? Overall pretty good, and they work well.

lasted 5 months then lost right channel
UPDATE: im on my third pair THESE ARE 5 STAR, but it gets one star since it took 1 half bad at first, a second completely bad with popping from wind noise and loud speaking inside motorcycle helmet, and this third set, which doesnt have any con's at all, except for the possible frail thin cables that will eventually get damaged. So i wear these inside a motorcycle helmet for noise canceling plugged into a bluetooth device that handles a microphone and audio, it works great. wonderful. 5 stars, if it was only consistent instead of complete garbage in manufacturing. if you feel like returning a bunch of them to get that needle in a haystack its worth it.the noise cancellation was fine for me, except for the microphone that is very susceptible to wind noise, it would interject garbage noise into the earbud. the device is surprisingly water resistant (the battery pack and electronics), however it only lasted 5 months until the wires broke near the connector causing a channel to be broken. going to try heat shrinking a new pair, and then im done with KOSS, i got more life out span of audia techinca's. the AT's also have screws for easy disassembly which makes turning 2 bad units into 1 good one.

Small, Comfortable and THEY WORK!!
A NICE set of phones that are very portable and they absolutely DO Noise Cancellation. Used them on a flight and the noise was cut way back while I watched the INFOTAINMENT system or listened to my I-Phone music. A real bargain at the price.Never used BOSE, so I cannot compare, but I was happy with these at 1/10 the price!

Good earbuds but flawed ANC with no volume control.
These ANC earbuds are ok for the price. I like that the ANC is powered by a AAA battery that continues to operate at around 1v, meaning that rechargeable NiMH batteries work fine. My main complaint is that there's no volume controlOn the positive side, the sound quality is very good—perhaps not up to par with others for the price, but these include ANC, which is where the problems start: the ANC is directional, a great feature, but it has an issue common with many cheap implementations where bumps, like when riding in a car, are transmitted to the earbuds, causing discomfort. Another issue is that the volume of ANC on/off is different—turning off ANC increases the volume. Therefore, you may run into a situation where you can turn off ANC in order to save battery and improve sound quality but that causes an uncomfortable increase in volume. This wouldn't really be an issue if not for the biggest problem (for me): no volume controlOverall, I'm not sure if there's a better option for AAA-powered ANC earbuds. If you just want to block outside noise, something from Elgin is probably a better alternative

Compact & great sound
I usually purchase the cheaper Koss ear buds as I really like the sound compared to others. These have the same great sound with the addition to muffle out additional noise. This comes with both silicone and foam cushions which the foam is very stiff but for me is more comfy than the silicone.I do prefer the ear cushions from their cheaper line "sparkplug" & "plug" but you gain the better noise isolation with this model.Took one star off as the cushions could use some improvement but not a deal breaker.

Love Koss but Disappointed
I was looking for a Wired set of Buds with Active Noise Cancelling. There is not much out there in the market available. I like and have used Koss products in the past. However, this one (QZ Buds) does not belong in the Koss catalog. The noise cancelling is at best minimal. The sound quality is just ok. If you really want some bass, you must push the bud very tightly into your ear. I did not find the fit to be particular comfortable. I had a very hard time opening the battery compartment. Ultimately, I returned the QZ Buds. Sorry Koss, but you ask for an honest evaluation. You can do much better. Not worthy of the Koss name.

Good ANR but Filmsy Wire & small casing
Although ANR feature is very good, as it attenuates the surrounding sound example, the air sound of air conditioning and ambient noise in aircraft cabin. However the wire used could be better, I feel that it would not last long especially at the joints or junctions. Should have the flat ribbon type of wire. The nice casing provided could have been a wee bit bigger. Got to Squeeze the wires and the big ANR switch into the casing. The switch is almost the width of the casing...

Not noise cancelling
I only rated 5 star so this wouldn't end up at the bottom where no one would see it. The sound quality is ok, nothing special but if you're buying these for noise cancelling forget it. I own Bose QC20 earbuds and bought these as a back up when I found out Bose wasn't selling wired anymore. These are NOT noise cancelling. These are no better than the wired earbuds that used to be sold with phones.
