Very Functional, Looks Great, & Price Is Right!
This stand looks great and is very stable. The entire stand is leather is soft so there is no way that the stand can scratch headphones mounted on it. Also, it is light and soft and so if it were to fall, as the manufacturer notes, it would not hurt anyone on whom it fell. The cable compartment is large enough to securely hold the 10-foot cable on my Audeze LCD-4 headphones and the stand is plenty strong to support even these quite-heavy phones. The diameter of the arc supporting the phones is smaller than anyone's head, so it does not put any strain on the spring in the headband. And thus, while the ear cushions do touch the leather, they do so with little pressure so there is no risk of deforming the cushions if the phones stay on the stand for a long time, especially since entire earpad contacts the leather of the stand, distributing the little clamping force there is with this stand. The ridges near the edges on the part that supports the headband are also a very nice touch. The headphone band will not slip off the edge of the holder. Also, the space between the ridges is enough even for wide headbands like the one on my Audeze phones.I don't understand why so few headphone stands have a compartment or well for the cable. They are always shown with headphones on the stand with no cable attached. I don't think most people detach the headphone cable from headphones when they put them on a stand. It is not as if you are very likely to be using the same cable with another pair of headphones since there are so many different types of connections at the headset among different brands. And if you are an audiophile, you have determined which cable works best with which headphone and won't be detaching the best cable for that headphone.I ordered two more of these for other high-end headphones in my collection. At less than $25 each, these are a great bargain!

Excellent stand and confirmed real leather
I went back and forth on quite a few stands. In the end, this was chosen due to the classic style, color, and cord basket. I have a red Bhudda head which has been holding one set of gaming Senns, and I thought this would be a nice addition color wise for my HD 6xx. Unfortunately, the internal "red" is more of a muddy red (browner than images on listing). But the leather is real and overall the stand is excellent. I've only had it on my desk a few days and have received multiple compliments. I'm considering getting a second for my wireless HD1 so they don't have to stay in my laptop bag 24/7

Looks Nice and is Well Made
I am happy that I paid abit more for this stand than the one that looks like it but is plastic. This is a nice quality leather and has a good stand and weight so when I go to take my phones off it the stand stays and does not tip. Has a nice cord holder as well. Looks like a piece of art really so blends in well just sitting on my shelf in the living room. I am using the stand to hold my bluetooth Sony h.ear 2 set and it fits perfectly. Well worth the money to keep my expensive phones in good condition.

Well thought out product
* Looks great* Wide enough to hold large headsets. e.g Audeze LCD2, Elear, HE400, NightHawks all fit well and nice. You dont need to worry about stress points or marks on the earpad* Nice tray to hold your terminations* Enough weight at the base for stability* Wire holder can be better but does its jobOverall very pleased and this is no doubt the best product in this category. Feels well made and should last a lifetime with minimal maintenance to keep the leather in good shape.

Why did I wait so long
Great looking and a well made addition to my vintage Sansui stereo setup. Very sturdy. My large AKG headphones fit on this stand with ease. The storage bin is perfect for hiding the cord and keeping the area tidy

Fits standard audio headset
Product does what it is expected to accomplish: hold headphones and have a neat spot to put the cord (if you have one). My use was for a stereo headset -- audiophile quality with attached cord. The container in the middle is perfect for storing the cord. It does not tip over and is quality constructed. There are ridges to prevent the headset from slipping. Much better for the headset than the plastic version I was using.
